A colleague from Xinjiang took us to try some authentic Xinjiang cuisine! I'd never come across a Xinjiang restaurant named after a number before! Forty-nine! My colleague told us about this restaurant, which has been a long-standing favorite in Xinjiang for almost 40 years. All my friends and family have eaten there, and it's a Xinjiang landmark, a must-try for many people visiting Xinjiang. Exit Huapaifang Subway Station, Exit B, and walk down the stairs to find the restaurant! So convenient! Enjoy authentic Xinjiang cuisine right on the subway! My colleague said their specialty is meatballs, so we ordered the "Sauce Meatballs." These meatballs are unlike the ones you'd find in Chengdu. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and with the signature sauce, they're so delicious you can't stop! I didn't realize the "Hot and Spicy Lamb Hoof" has such a unique texture. The meat is tender, the tendons are rich, and the flavor is incredibly rich. It's packed with collagen—you just have to eat the whole thing! Ever since I tried the yogurt rice dumplings, I've been ordering them every time I go to a Xinjiang restaurant. Sticky rice topped with rich, creamy yogurt and jam, I can't stop eating! Their dishes are known for their generous portions, excellent taste, and, most importantly, affordable prices. For just over 30 yuan per person, they're a very satisfying meal, perfect for sharing!
