The restaurant is perched on a hill, covered in hydrangeas, overlooking the Three Pagodas. It's even more beautiful than I imagined, and the photo ops are incredible! 📷 🌼Tucked away in the red brick house surrounded by hydrangeas, it feels like a wabi-style monsoon. After enjoying the welcome enzyme, you'll be taken to the organic herb garden. Wasabi, rosemary, jasmine, crystal orchid... A dining adventure about terroir. As a global destination restaurant, this was my first visit to Maple View, and I already had a strong liking for it. Maple View seems to be unlocking the charm of Yunnan's four seasons, its flavors changing from one mile to the next, and gradually revealing them. As a foodie, I'm particularly delighted to be able to experience the "beginning" of a fine dining restaurant with my first encounter – a truly rare experience. In my opinion, a good fine dining restaurant needs a "growth gene." Much like reading a literary work, many people prefer to read a series of installments rather than a single masterpiece that reaches its peak. With a series of installments comes every surprise, every twist and turn, every imperfection and difficulty, every improvement to a flaw. It's this process of beginning, development, and ending that is art, and from this, the essence of philosophy: continuous questioning, dynamic connection, and repair. Maple View, that's exactly what it is.
