Walking into this restaurant, I felt a strong farmhouse atmosphere. The four of us ordered five dishes plus wood-fired iron pot rice. The dishes were beyond our imagination when they arrived on the table. They were very delicious. The chicken was fragrant and the fish was tender and tasty. The wood-fired rice was especially delicious and made us feel full. The sweet potato noodles were different from those we had in other restaurants. This was the first time I had such a taste. The day lily was sandwiched between the sweet potato noodles and it was still fresh in my memory. It was a very delicious meal. Although the waitress here was a little older, she was very enthusiastic and proactive in her service. It is worth recommending.

When I visited Chenzhou, I had my first meal at Chaihuo Renjia in the city. The store turned the brick-walled bungalow into a food stall, with a shed at the door and a winding area with many small private rooms. The food was good, a bit rustic, and had a strong firewood smell. I ordered spicy crab, and the black pot smelled like burnt firewood. The store pays more attention to culture, and although it is high-end, it adds a sense of age.

The bouncy, creamy flavor is amazing 🤤 This is a Hunan restaurant with a lively atmosphere that even Wang Han and Shen Mengchen have visited! Firewood stove, snack stalls, everything is made to order, not pre-prepared food! I recommend coming early as there's a queue during peak hours. Fish roe and fish maw, family-style hot pot, and "Bull Demon King" (a type of seafood dish) – so warming in winter!
