非常棒的川菜體驗！Excellent Sichuan cuisine! Looks spicy but actually you can choose the degree of spice you want. Everything tasty and price is very reasonable compared to the quality of food. Very good value! Highly recommended if you go with friends. (Maybe not good for single traveler, the food is not served in small dishes.)

Ma Wangzi from Meishan has been doing very well since it settled in Taikoo Li. I personally like the fried eggplant shrimp balls. The shrimps are very fresh and the shrimp balls are very soft and sticky. The eggplant inside is very delicious. The eggplant is fried in small pieces first. It has a crispy taste on the outside and tender on the inside.

If you have time in Chengdu, you will find Ma Wangzi restaurant without any recommendation. The authentic Sichuan cuisine will make you fall in love with it unconsciously. Chengdu is such a place where food is the medium.

A very flavorful Sichuan restaurant, located next to Chengdu's new landmark Taikoo Li, a two-story Sichuan restaurant, the interior decoration is all log color, bamboo series design, clean and tidy, so it is loved by many young people and has become a Sichuan restaurant with an atmosphere. The peanuts for chopsticks in the restaurant are very creative, and the dishes are all small portions, but you can taste more dishes. I ordered several well-known dishes, pickled fish, sweet braised pork, sweet skin duck, pickled radish, Wanwanwang, brown sugar pot cake, twice-cooked pork, ice jelly, all of which are very good. The service in the store is also good, the bill price is not expensive, and the environment is also very good, highly recommended

Since I ate too much hotpot in Chongqing, I decided to try a different way of eating. This restaurant is just opposite the hotel where I stayed. The lighting and colors are clean and refreshing. It’s interesting to use a peanut as a chopstick holder. The chicken rolls are salty, spicy, fragrant and rich, and the steamed mushrooms are exquisite. It’s located in an expensive area but has reasonable prices. If you don’t pursue authenticity or need to take photos, this is a very good choice.

Worth the wait longer than 1 hour. BEST restaurant in Chengdu! Not too spicy and the vege is so fresh and the food is unique. Amazing taste! Pork kuckle sauce was the best. Fish in spicy oil and sweet potato/shrimp were also very good!

The number was not released until 17:00 in the afternoon. We lined up at 16:50 and were already the 63rd. It was said that the people in front of us lined up two hours in advance. Most of the people who came to eat were tourists from other places. We waited for 2 hours and finally it was our turn. Kung Pao Eggplant Shrimp Balls is a must-order dish recommended online. The taste is okay. The eggplant looks like a potato. When you bite it, it is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. You will find that it is eggplant. This deserves praise; the knife-cut pepper dry chicken is said to be a dish developed by the third generation of this restaurant. It doesn’t taste as good as the saliva chicken; the traditional boiled fish is not bad, not as greasy as other restaurants. There are a lot of waiters, but some of them have a bad attitude.

Next to Taikoo Li, it is really popular! There were a lot of people queuing at noon! Then, after entering, it was very simple and the staff were enthusiastic and proactive! I ordered a few special dishes and was very satisfied! Good value for money!
