The decoration is modern + Chengdu elements style, which looks OK. I ordered the signature Fuqi Feipian, Sichuan representative Mapo Tofu, and Kung Pao Chicken. All the flavors are very authentic. The only minor drawback is that the sauce of Kung Pao Chicken is a bit heavy, and it is a bit salty at the end. The service of the maids is also OK, which completely changed my impression of his restaurant.

Fuqi Feipian is a traditional famous dish in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, belonging to Sichuan cuisine. This dish was created by Guo Chaohua and Zhang Tianzheng. It is usually made of ox head skin, ox heart, ox tongue, ox tripe, and beef as the main ingredients, which are braised and then sliced. It is then served with chili oil, pepper powder and other auxiliary ingredients to make red oil and poured on top. It is finely made, beautiful in color, tender and fresh, spicy and fragrant, and very palatable.
The first stop is of course Chunxi Road. There are too many snacks, so you don’t need to pick them specifically. Just go and eat if you like. I don’t want to make any recommendations, and we didn’t look at anyone’s recommendations. Food is not a check-in. But I still couldn’t help but come to this old brand at the intersection of Chunxi Road: Fuqi Feipian. I have been here before. It was still a street shop at that time. Now it has been newly renovated. Although it lacks the feeling of an old shop, it is clean and hygienic, which is also good. In addition to the Fuqi Feipian in the town shop, most of the classic Sichuan snacks can actually be ordered here, and the taste is not bad. Like chicken shredded noodles, jelly, etc., I like them all, and I don’t need to find them one by one after ordering them all at once. It is recommended that if you want to taste the classic Sichuan snacks, just come here!
This restaurant offers small, medium, and large portions of Fuqi Feipian (Chinese lung slices). The picture below shows the medium portion (58 yuan). The portion isn't huge, but the flavor is acceptable. The texture depends on the thickness of the cuts. The main ingredients are tripe and beef, and the combination of beef and tendon is excellent. The base is also well-prepared, using celery, whose leaves are fragrant and devoid of tendons, resulting in a crisp, crunchy texture. Overall, it's acceptable. However, I wouldn't recommend the noodles; they lack flavor and character. The glutinous rice cake is very soft and glutinous, but dessert lovers should give it a try.

The Fuqi Feipian main store is located at 23 Zongfu Road, Jinjiang District, Chengdu, at the intersection of Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street, in a street-level shop beneath the Wangfujing Department Store. 5. The main store sells Fuqi Feipian in three sizes: large, medium, and small. I only tried one dish during my visit: a small portion of Fuqi Feipian. When I visit any restaurant that serves delicious food, I usually only try one of their signature dishes and rarely try anything else. Firstly, I need to understand my purpose for visiting, and secondly, human appetites are limited. If I try everything, I might regret it if I stumble upon something delicious at my next stop. 6. The Fuqi Feipian at the main restaurant is a bit too spicy. While I can handle spicy food, a tolerance developed through extensive travel, this Fuqi Feipian was a bit too much for me. To combat the spiciness, I sipped on some lemon water, which the restaurant provided free of charge. I wonder if they knew their customers had a limited tolerance for spicy food and provided it specifically, or if it was simply a way of entertaining their guests.
The phrase "food paradise" is definitely a synonym for Chengdu. Fuqi Feipian (Chinese beef lung slices) is even available at a shop like this one, located under the overpass next to Wangfujing Department Store and across from Maoye Department Store. I recommend the cold noodles, Zhong Shui Dumplings, and Tangyuan (glutinous rice balls). The beef lung slices aren't bad, but they don't have a unique flavor, and the wontons are just average in appearance.
