Daqinghua Dumpling House (shanzhuang)

There is a store that I always visit every time I go to Chengde. It has several branches in Chengde, and this is one of the more popular ones. When I go to the store, I must order the signature leek and egg fried dumplings. The taste is so good that I haven't eaten such delicious fried dumplings since I returned to Guangzhou. It's really unforgettable.

I ate here many years ago and the food was delicious. The environment was also very nice and had a royal feel. The dumplings here were very delicious and I highly recommend them. The hygiene here was also very good and the waiters were very nice and patient.

I came here after hearing about it, and ate there with my elderly relatives. We ordered dumplings, which were soft and delicious. All three types of dumplings were very tasty, made with fresh ingredients and had authentic flavors. The environment was nice, located opposite the Summer Palace. It was convenient to eat there after sightseeing.

The dumplings have thin wrappers and generous fillings, and taste excellent. It's just across the street from the Summer Palace, and the environment is also very nice. For those visiting the Summer Palace and unsure what to eat, I recommend Da Qing Hua; the service is also good.

It was still just dumplings, the stew was so-so, and the stir-fries were okay but nothing special. The only thing that struck me was that it had a royal name, but I didn't taste any royal flavors.
