Every dish is like a work of art, and is made very delicately! From the beginning of the reservation, the chef contacted us to ask about our dietary restrictions and preferences, and customized the menu according to our preferences and the season. The dishes really lived up to expectations! First of all, the appearance is already one of the best in Chaozhou, and the taste incorporates many elements of Chaozhou cuisine. Even the husband of a local praised it and said it has the taste of Chaozhou! The service is even better. It is a high-end hotel itself, and the service staff is just right and considerate, which is not found in any restaurant in Chaozhou
For our family trip, we chose to stay at the Chaozhou Imperial Hotel, and naturally, we wanted to try the hotel's Imperial Cuisine. The dining arrangements were a bit different from those in other countries. Our butler not only confirmed any food allergies but also suggested the chef discuss the matter with us in advance. Ultimately, we gave the chef full control over the menu. The butler also arranged for guzheng and opera performances. The restaurant, spread over three floors, can accommodate more than ten people for an opera performance. We had it all to ourselves that day. The decor was elegant and captivating, with various large and small ornaments reflecting the designer's meticulous aesthetic, creating a fusion of ancient and modern culture. We enjoyed an eight-course lunch, with the chef explaining the ingredients and cooking techniques one by one. The dishes were all traditional Chaozhou flavors we'd grown up with, but with a bold blend of Eastern and Western ingredients and cooking methods. I particularly enjoyed the baked conch slices, abalone, and stuffed pigeon leg. The presentation was exquisite, the flavors were delicious, and the food was truly memorable! The taste of some dishes is definitely comparable to that of a Michelin three-star restaurant.
It was a great experience. The chef personally explained the dishes one by one, and each one was amazing.

You need to make reservations in advance. Each person has 10 dishes. When each dish is served, the chef will explain the cooking method and the story behind it. The whole dining process is like appreciating a piece of art. There is a hand-washing ceremony before the meal. Friends who come to Chaozhou are recommended to experience it.
