It is better to try than to hear. Lier Bakery is located in the Guilin Road business district, next to Yaohan Hair Salon, and there are two Korean supermarkets next to it.
Let’s talk about its popularity first. It is absolutely the most popular. Sweet potato bread needs to be booked in advance. If you don’t make an appointment, you will definitely not be able to grab it.
It is crispy on the outside and has a sweet potato core on the inside. It is sweet and fragrant when you take a bite. If it is not small in size, it is indeed not considered how much calories it has.

This shop doesn't look very eye-catching from the outside, but after buying something once, I feel like coming back again. The taste of Korean bread is a little different from Western bread. There is potato bread here, which is very special.
This is definitely a reputable store. The signature products are all baked on time. I only caught up with the sweet potato bread, so I missed the cappuccino I wanted to eat. I'm drooling just thinking about it~ The price is cheap. Although it looks average, it's really delicious~ There are a lot of people, all going for the signature products. The storefront is very small, and I feel like you will miss it if you don't pay attention~
A very popular shop, especially the sweet potato bread. When the potato bread comes out of the oven, it is gone in minutes, but now it can be reserved, it is not bad~ As for the environment and appearance, it is really too ordinary. I feel that the bread is not good-looking, but the taste is very good. I especially like the sweet potato bread~ The baker is really Korean~ The price is not expensive, it is very cost-effective~ I come here often~
Actually, the main focus of this trip was Yanji and Changbai Mountain. However, as luck would have it, Yanji Airport was undergoing renovations, so I had to fly to Changchun first. I originally thought Changchun was just a transit point, but after some research, I discovered there's so much to do and eat in Changchun! So, let me share my itinerary for a day trip to Changchun! - 🚶🏻♀️Route: Arrive in Changchun in the morning - Shuwang Hot Pot Main Restaurant - The Hill - Changchun Film Studio Museum - Tram No. 54 (Nanyang Road Station) - Puppet Manchukuo Imperial Palace Museum - Guilin Road Street District - Yuanshengju - 1⃣️Changchun Cultural Tourism: ✔️ Changchun Film Studio Museum (🎫90/person, 9:00-20:30): Across from the museum is the Route 54 tourist train and very close to The Hill, making it a great place to visit together. The museum has three exhibition areas: the art gallery, the studio (for dubbed films and props), and the photofinishing workshop (for public benefit). It's perfect for bringing parents along – you're sure to find them relatable! Tip: Buy a combined ticket for the Puppet Manchukuo Imperial Palace and Changchun Film Studio Museum for 129/person for a better deal! ✔️ Tram Route 54 (Nanyang Road Station): For photography enthusiasts, take the 2 RMB tram to Nanyang Road Station for photos like those in "The World." However, the green tram is hard to get; I waited for half an hour but couldn't get one. Alternatively, try the Cultural and Tourism Special Line, but it's 88 RMB per person and you can't get off the bus, so it's a bit pricey. Oh, and the station sells cute 3D train fridge magnets—worth buying one! ✔️ The Imperial Palace of Manchukuo Museum (🎫70 RMB per person) (Open from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, last admission at 4:40 PM): The museum is quite large, so a guided tour is recommended. Tour route: Imperial Palace Museum of Manchukuo (Main Gate) - Tongde Hall - Jixi Building - Qinmin Building - Huaiyuan Building - Jiale Hall - Calligraphy and Painting Building - Imperial Swimming Pool - Imperial Air-raid Shelter - Zhixiuxuan - Imperial Household Agency - Men's Wings - Ruins of the Founding Temple - Imperial Garden - Racecourse + Motorcycle Pavilion + Lubu Garage. 2⃣️Changchun Food: ✔️Shuwang Clay Pot Spicy Hot Pot: A must-try when visiting Changchun Take a bite of the sticky Northeastern spicy hot pot. The first bite is delicious, but after two bites, it gets greasy. Just a quick bite is enough. ✔️ Yuanshengju: The intangible cultural heritage copper pot hot pot and the lamb shumai are must-try. The sesame sauce is also very flavorful, but the pickled garlic isn't as good as the ones in Beijing. ✔️ Korean Lil Bread: I happened to stop by on Guilin Road and bought some. It's off-season, so there aren't many tourists. I bought the internet-famous sweet potato bread and the last potato bread. It's not bad, but it's not worth going out of my way to buy. 3⃣️ Shopping in Changchun: ✔️ The Hill: I'd heard about this beautiful shopping mall before I came to Changchun. It's actually quite fun to visit, with lots of cultural and creative shops and unique stores. The opening ceremony is at 10:25 every day. You can get a close-up view of the Giant Buddha at the Toad Pavilion for 10 yuan per person. It's a shame my fixed-focus lens couldn't capture it all. ✔️Guilin Road: A great neighborhood for young people to enjoy a city walk. There are several adorable grocery stores. The internet-famous Dopamine Wall is right at the intersection of Xikang Road and Changqing Street. Changchun is truly charming and a city rich in history and culture. It shouldn't be just a stopover. One day was a bit tight; I didn't get to visit Jingyuetan Lake, and I only had a quick tour of the Puppet Manchukuo Imperial Palace. But leaving a few small regrets is a must-do for a trip! #most-asked-about-social-media #where-to-go-national-day #where-to-go-weekend #what-to-do-in-changchun #Changchun-tourism
