Cactus Club Cafe is located in Jack Poole Plaza outside Canada Place. On one side is the Olympic Cauldron, where the Olympic flame was lit, and on the other side is Coal Harbour, where seaplanes and seagulls fly. The outdoor performance at the 2019 New Year's Party was held here.
Arrive at Canada Place and walk along The Canada Trail. On one side is the magnificent water of Coal Harbour, and on the other side is the Coal Harbour Cafe. It serves coffee, beer, tea, and panini. Continue walking forward and you will reach the Fly over Canada game venue.
This is a popular local chain restaurant. There are stores in Vancouver and Calgary. The queue at the restaurant is about an hour long, which is really exaggerated. The food tastes good. The fried squid is delicious, the steak is great, the duck is tender, and the tacos are also very popular.
Born on the West Coast and now across Canada, Cactus Club Cafe uses fresh local ingredients and offers dedicated, enthusiastic, surprising professional service. Cactus, co-led by Test Kitchen, is a team of world-class chefs, including Rob Feenie from Vancouver and Cory Vitiello from Toronto. They are committed to finding inspiration in the food people love. Founder Richard Jaffray worked as a waiter for a long time as a teenager. At the age of 19, he found a strong love for the restaurant industry. In 1986, he opened his first restaurant, Cáfe Cucamongas, selling cappuccinos, sandwiches and ice cream. In 1988, at the age of 23, he sold Cucamongas and opened the first Cactus Club Cafe in North Vancouver. The goal was to open a fun, high-end restaurant with excellent service and high-quality food. In the first 25 years, they opened 25 chains and had 2,000 employees. Now he has become a national chain.
