红顶教堂It's a very popular restaurant. The seafood hotpot looks good, but Korean hotpot is different from the ones in China. It looks rich on the top, but the bottom is actually very thin. What you see is all there is, and there's not much underneath. The taste is just okay.

Boye1There is a popular coffee shop here in Xipugui, which is similar to a small roadside shop. I ordered some of the signature snacks, which tasted good. The Korean rice cake tasted great. The coffee in this shop is just average.

Boye1It's a small shop at a crossroads. It sells quite a few varieties of food, including marinated crabs and grilled fish. I ordered the grilled fish set, which tasted quite good. The main dish was vegetable noodles. Overall, I was satisfied and the price was cheap.

4. Jinju Sikdang

StevenDJRNice restaurant, with all kinds of delicious food. The ingredients are very solid, but the taste is spicy. The price is affordable. Koreans eat here, but foreign tourists are rarely seen. It seems to be quite famous in Korea, and a TV show has been filmed here.

zhulei831230The sashimi I came here specifically for was pretty good, fresh and had a great taste. The only problem was that the variety was a little limited, and the sushi was a little simpler, but overall it was pretty good.

9. Gozip Dol Wooluck - Jungmun

空空CJI loved this place so much. The guy at the front desk said he was the only one who spoke good English and he had lived in NY for several years. He was very welcoming. He asked us to order there so he could help us and that was exactly what happened. He patiently explained all the set menu options to us and even when we were not very hungry, told us which set menus were cheaper and which were the best choices based on our craving for sashimi, and said that the raw fish soup would satisfy us if we wanted. Later, we chose the rich but not cheap set menu because we needed to climb Halla Mountain the next day, and he was so straightforward and helpful. The food there was just amazing, the service was great, the interior was clean and the atmosphere was nice. My favorite was the raw fish soup. It was very fresh along with all the other dishes, the Korean salad was also outstanding, the stone fish stew and the generous sashimi platter were also delicious and tasty.
