Wingate by Wyndham Bowling Green

This hotel was in a perfect location for our families spring break trip while we visited the Mamath Caves, Lost River Cave and the National Corvette Measume. Plenty of restaurants around and easy on/off of the main hwy. Breakfast being included was a plus. My boyfriend enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and the kids loved the waffles. The pool and hot tub were loved by all and we went in them all of the three nights we were there. The rooms were average size and nothing special, could use a little fixing up here and there and maybe some hooks on back of bathroom door or a rack above toilet for a place to hang towels but it was a place to sleep and shower. One thing I can say is that the parking lot was not very large in the front of the hotel and most spots already taken as times we came and went so we had to park on the side lot which is on a slanted hill and it's a pain in the butt getting in and out. We would still stay again as the price for what you get was the best we found around.

Great location and room setup is nice (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with kitchenette) but it’s just not super clean. There was a toothpaste type stain all over the front of the under sink cabinets, inside of drawers in bathroom and bedrooms have residue/crumbs/need cleaned, fridge had standing water inside plus red sticky stains on shelves, plates in cupboard had dried food on them, carpet very much needs a thorough vacuuming plus a good shampoo (keep your socks on!) Plus there was no toilet paper aside from the half roll on the holder and only conditioner (no shampoo) and no other personal amenities provided. Bed was comfy enough but I itched and worried about cleanliness and didn’t sleep well since everything else was off. Outside is pretty and well maintained . Lobby bright and colorful, pool & gym small but nice (I didn’t use but walked through.) Staff is friendly and responsive with what they could do to help - we needed sheets for the sofa bed and more towels and they ran them up right away at 9 pm but I honestly wish we had just skipped the stop and driven on through the night to get home. This location has potential - I think with covid staffing issues they are just unable to do room cleaning as thoroughly as needed but it adds up and is borderline gross. It’s really too bad.

The hotel is well equipped and in a good location. The amenities are good and used the exercise room where everything was in good functioning order and very clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent for the price-point. This was an excellent experience.

Stayed here for one night while driving to Florida. It's located in a nice area close to restaurants. It appears to be recently remodeled, was super clean and very nice. If you need a great mid priced hotel this is the place for you. It had a comfy bed, a great couch to sit on with a rolling ottoman and a brand new huge LG TV. We had an issue with the TV and the front desk staff came up right away and fixed it. Great customer service here would stay agin
