Country Motor Inn

The Reception staff were so helpful, information and easy to talk to. On arrival, the Manager was so welcoming and helpful. We felt we could have just stayed there chatting to him all day....a top bloke! We booked 2 upstairs rooms which, although the decor was a little dated, the rooms were very spacious, quiet and impeccably clean with everything you would need. It was better equipped than some hotels I've stayed at in Sydney. We wish we had booked for 2 nights instead of one because we missed out on having a swim in the very inviting, sparkling clean pool. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys!!! A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The room is comfortable and sanitary. We are 6 people, suitable for group family trips. There is a parking lot downstairs, which is very convenient and suitable for families with cars. About 15 minutes walk, there are McDonald’s, fast food, and supermarket

If you’ve updated your car forget about this place. Obviously the owner is here is anti EV. They try to overcharge for their EV facilities, but putting the price up over 10 times what it should be, remember other accommodation offers as a complementary service.. the worst part is the absolute arrogant nature of whoever replies to their Google reviews. They are an “expert” on how your car works, obviously, they’ve never owned one. They are convinced that if you charge something you’re staying there, it’ll somehow damage their electrical system, I wonder if that applies to other electrical appliances like laptops or phones. Some people should not be in the hospitality business. What a disappointment. It’s a shame because although it’s old it’s not too bad. Maybe they could bring back the old Manager?

Comfortable stays for your resonable price about $60 with abit of change back in your pocket Royal hotel is right on the main street so noise will vary but the glass is rather thick and drains most of the highway noise..mon-fri if on highway side might get the 5am mine traffic alarm wakeup from the cars which is alright if you forgot your alarm Room 6-7-8 is your best rooms which is not on the highway side Barfridge and tv in the rooms and the aircon is quiet and very cold for the summer weather.found the beds to be pretty good bice and soft to make a nest for a nice sleep A few showers and bathrooms to choose from does take a few mins for the hot water to really crank up but its all go from there. Plenty of onsite parking out the back would be pretty suprised if you cant find one Only about 15-20 min drive to the hunter mines and about 40 from muswellbrooks if your working in the area Plenty of food places in walking distance if you dont want a feed downstairs..kfc less the 5min walk, maccas and hungryjacks about 5 mins walk down road..otherwise got a shell express directly across the road aswell as a bp otherwise your main shops about 10 min walk eg coles woolies ect Cafe nextdoor next door for your tradies brekky on the road doing coffees and b&e rolls..
