This trip to sotuhern China I also had chance to visit 肇庆. It was really great I chose to stop at this beautiful city. It has two very great places to visit: 七星岩 and 鼎湖山. I recommend visiting both, I would probably give 3 hours for each place. 鼎湖山 is not so close from the city center, but there are buses that go directly to the gate. 气星岩 is closer and the scenery more focused on the lake.

📍Zhaoqing Sheraton Hotel The hotel is located in the new district. It takes about half an hour to get back to the hotel after visiting Dinghu Mountain. There seems to be nothing to eat around, basically all are solved in the hotel. The same line is 5 adults and 2 children. The ordinary room uses welcome points to exchange for an extra breakfast. The service staff are very good. They arranged a room for us when we had dinner in the lounge at night and breakfast in the morning. The holiday lounge must be multi-person. The breakfast tastes very good. The fritters are cut into small pieces and the porridge is great. The overall shape of the hotel feels like spreading wings, with a large green coverage, a camping area next to it, and a wetland park across the road. Each room has a balcony. When we arrived in the afternoon, the weather was relatively hot. When we opened the balcony door and blew the warm wind, we had a little illusion of a seaside vacation. After eating at night, it is very pleasant to take a walk and blow the wind downstairs. I saw fireworks 🧨 in the park across the street. Zhaoqing version of 'Little Guilin'

A good place to visit for a weekend trip, I chose to go to Zhaoqing for a two-day, one-night trip. I heard that the Seven Star Crags in Zhaoqing are somewhat similar to the landscapes of Guilin, so I came here to relax, take a walk, and enjoy some delicious food. I bought an all-inclusive ticket for about 200 yuan per person, which included a boat tour of the double caves, a self-driving boat, a sightseeing bus, and a bamboo raft ride. It was quite cost-effective. What impressed me the most was the bamboo raft ride, where we had to pass under three bridge arches. Everyone had to crouch down to pass through the arches, which was thrilling and exciting 😆 and very funny. The local delicacies here are mainly seafood. Every day, I was either on my way to eat seafood or eating seafood. I really love seafood 😋. I randomly picked a restaurant and ordered a specialty dish - steamed river clams with vermicelli and garlic. The river clam was bigger than my hand 😲 and quite delicious. The dishes had the typical taste of Guangdong street food, very tasty 🤤. In the evening, I took a stroll around the arcade buildings, but there wasn't much to see as many shops were closed.
