The Most Beautiful Flower Town
Yvoire - A small town on the shores of Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) in France, is known as the most beautiful flower town in France.
A medieval village with a history of over 700 years, its tall walls are still well-preserved, faintly showing the remnants of its former defensive fortress. On both sides of the streets, in front of houses, behind houses, in corridors, on balconies, windowsills, and even stair railings, there are flowers in full bloom, creating a truly 'flower town'.

French flower town Ivar
A medieval French town with more than 700 years of history, located at the foot of the Alps, nestled in Lake Geneva, surrounded by medieval walls, mostly preserved in the town. Built, Ivar is known as "the most beautiful village in France", the first of the four flower towns, once represented France in the world's most beautiful town competition.
The town has full of flowers, the locals dress their houses with green vine plants and colorful flowers. In different months, the flowers and towns open different flowers, and the spring is full of heavy Rose peony, the summer is full of little grass flowers, the blue lake and the unpredictable clouds are the same scenery, and there is the super delicious cheese ham pancake fruit (French pancake).
The village with only about 600 people, the largest building is the Duke of Ivar Castle built on the lake. You can see this beautiful castle at the pier. In the Middle Ages, it was once the Sava people. The strategic fortress of Menghu, the castle is not open to the outside world, seems to remain in the long history and mottled years.
Transportation: It takes half an hour to drive from Geneva. It is also very convenient to take a boat from Nyon. The most common way of transportation by boat to Ivar is by boat from Nyon (Swiss pass can be used if there is no pass) If the price is 24 Swiss francs, you can take a bus or train from Geneva to Nyon in advance and take a 20-minute flight. If it is only a day trip, it is recommended to return to Nyon at the latest ferry at 7pm. It is recommended to check the boat time. Driving by car from Geneva to Ivar is also very convenient. The scenery along the way is beautiful, and there is a large parking lot outside the town. The journey takes about twenty minutes to half a trip
The most beautiful town in France | the small town of Ivar in the flower town
15 minutes by boat, from Switzerland to France, we are greeted by the flowers of Ivar. Its a flower town, its really like walking into Alices Wonderland. It is no exaggeration to say that our moving speed is ten minutes and five meters. Because the scenery is everywhere, the shutters are too late to press. Although the whole process has been drizzling, the passion of creation has not weakened.
When the rain was the biggest, we found a cake shop to eat in the rain through tiipadvisor. At the beginning, when Stevens proposed to eat the cake, we didn't agree with each other. The European cakes were delicious, but then we passed the door, and as soon as we watched the seats, we immediately rushed in. Stunning in capital! There are two kinds of cakes, we all ordered salty, plus eggs and bacon. Stevens tried a sweet one with chocolate inside. Its really delicious to fly, and even has the urge to pack.
The establishment of Ivar originated in the twelfth century AD. From 1306 onwards, the Earl of Sava, Amedee V, ordered the strengthening of the military work of Ivar. For the next half century, Ivar fully demonstrated his important military role. In 1324, the villagers of Ivar received certain privileges. In the sixteenth century, Ivar was attacked the most violently in his history. The walls were destroyed and the castle was burned. The town lost its previous strategic and military status and gradually fell into an ordinary village and fishing village.
I don't know if the house on either side of the hole is extended from that year, at least, it should maintain the medieval architectural style. The thick walls of stone bricks and gravel are solid and insulated, and the walls are smashed and full of vicissitudes.
All tourist destinations are inevitably prosperous in business, as is the case of Ivar, known as the flower town. The old town of Ivar is not big, the shops are small and exquisite, the decoration is very beautiful and comfortable, and it is often quite ingenious.
Its really a flower town, and every household is full of bright plants, just like playing in the dark. Under the hustle and bustle of the sun, a small piece of grass, a few light tables, a few random chairs, a relaxed atmosphere, lined with the solemnity and ancientity in the distance.
