Believe it by yourself by visiting there! It was our weekend trip to Wenzhou from Suzhou. After 5 hours of high speed train when we came out of the Wenzhou station, we already loved that place. The surrounding was amazing. We lived in a nearby hotel (walking distance) since our plan was to go to Yandangshan mountain very next day. Next morning after arriving at the Yandangshan station (30 mins from Wenzhou station), we had to transfer bus twice to go to the mountain place. Luckily at that time the bus tickets were free may be for attracting more tourists. First we went to see the big waterfall (Dalongqiu) that is one of the main attractions of Yandangshan. The water force wasn't so heavy though, however it was a pleasant view. Our next destination was the glass bridge at the peak of Lingyan temple. "The greatest view comes after the hardest climb" - you will believe it by yourself if you can make it. I literally lost my words to express after arriving at the peak! Really! You can have a glimpse in the pictures. That wasn't all. There was a breathtaking performance in the sky! I better keep it as a surprise for you guys if you want to visit there. Btw, everyday at 3 pm the show takes place! Due to time constraints, we had to return at the train station. Yandangshan has a lot to offer! Yandang Mountain is located in Yueqing, Wenzhou, Zhejiang. It is a large mountain range, divided into South Yandang Mountain and North Yandang Mountain by the Oujiang River. North Yandang Mountain alone has many famous attractions. As one of the Three Mountains and Five Sacred Mountains, Yandang Mountain is definitely worth a visit. Dalongqiu Waterfall, Lingyan Rock, and Lingfeng Peak are the three must-see attractions of North Yandang Mountain, and each is an independent scenic area. Dalongqiu Waterfall is mainly known for its waterfall. However, when I visited in November, it was the dry season, and only a few trickles of water fell from the huge rock. It must be spectacular when the water is abundant. The rock is covered with cliff carvings, left by countless literati and poets who have visited over the years. The Lingyan Rock Scenic Area of Yandang Mountain features a wire-walking performance, also known as the Lingyan Flying Crossing. The wire-walking performance at 10 am every day is a must-see. With the ancient Lingyan Temple at the top of the mountain as the backdrop, a steel wire is stretched between Tianzhu Peak and Zhanqi Peak, spanning over 200 meters and at a height of over 200 meters above the ground. The performer walks quickly, does somersaults, and even rides a bicycle on the wire, making for a thrilling and exciting show.
