The Jiuli Divine Pillar is the tallest and largest Miao totem pole in the world, and the Jiuli Palace is the tallest and largest stilt house in the world. With its 3-kilometer stone-paved street, fire walls, serene courtyards, and stilt houses, the town is full of local character. We admired sights like the Yuanyang Tower, East Gate Tower, and well-preserved Ming and Qing residential buildings. The night lighting on Fengyu Bridge was stunning, and bonfire parties added to the lively atmosphere.
