On the way back from a trip to Hirayu Onsen, a friend took me here! The meat here is very fresh Hida beef, and it's also reasonably priced. It's not an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but for about 4,000 yen per person, you can get quite full and even enjoy dessert. The meat is tasty, thickly cut, and lean, so it's very filling. They also serve yukhoe. There is a lot of meat per plate. You add your own sauce. I recommend the tongue and kalbi. By the way, the last order was 9:30 p.m. (confirmed). Payment is cash only. My friend is a big eater, but we ate so much that we forgot about time and it cost us 14,000 yen. He was satisfied. It seems that the seats are sometimes full, but since we went in at 8:30 p.m. on a weekday, there were empty seats. It's not as touristy as I thought it would be, so I didn't see many foreigners. If you slowly climb the slope to the waterfall, you'll arrive at a very atmospheric waterfall. It takes about 20 minutes to slowly climb from the parking lot. It might be nice to come down and take a break at the souvenir shop at the foot of the mountain and listen to old stories from the shop owner. 😌 Although it's a tourist attraction, it's close to nature, so you should be careful, especially in the summer, as I saw hornets around the waterfall.

I went there for the first time in several decades. It's a shame that there are fewer tourists than I remember from my childhood and the souvenir shops are closed, but of course the waterfall is the same.
