🌈When I arrived at Nanxi River by high-speed rail, it was like stepping into a paradise. The mountains and rivers here instantly captured my heart.
🌮At noon, I came to the popular Hua Kai Mai Bing Wu. It is full of artistic atmosphere, a good place for taking photos and checking in. Tasting the local specialties, the aroma of Mai Bing spreads in the mouth, with various flavors, making people linger.
🛶Next, we experienced Nanxi River bamboo raft drifting. Sitting on the bamboo raft, slowly drifting down the river, the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river is in full view. Green mountains and green water, blue sky and white clouds, gentle breeze, refreshing. The river is clear and transparent, and occasionally you can see fish playing in the water. At this moment, time seems to stand still, only the tranquility and beauty of nature.

You can only drive or charter a car to get here. It's easy to get a taxi to get here, but it may not be so convenient to get a taxi to go back.
🌊If you are on a day trip to Nanxi River, Linkeng is the farthest stop, 50 kilometers away from Yantou Village. Taogong Cave, praised by Taoists as the 'Twelfth Blessed Land under Heaven', is located at the foot of Daluoyan Mountain in the Nanxi River area of Yongjia County. It is a large natural rock cave. The cave is 56 meters high, 76 meters wide, and 79 meters deep, making it the largest stone chamber in southern Zhejiang.
Taogong Cave is divided into two levels. The lower level houses three Guanyin Pavilions, and the preaching altar can accommodate hundreds of people. Outside the cave, there are nine-bay front halls, bell and drum towers, and side rooms. On the south side inside the cave, a 56-step stone staircase leads to the upper level 'Heavenly Platform'. Behind the Heavenly Platform is the Hu Gong Hall, which enshrines the seated statue of Hu Gong Emperor, and in front of it is the Wenchang Pavilion.
Taogong Cave has a long history. The halls inside the cave were first built in the seventh year of Xiantong during the reign of Emperor Yizong of the Tang Dynasty (866). After entering the Yajiaxu scenic area, climb from the right side of the mountain foot to the , where you can overlook the waterfall. There's a lot of climbing, not for those who are afraid of heights‼️
3️⃣Full route
📍Starting point Dadong Village - Xiaoruoyan Scenic Area - Waterfall - Dingbu - Jugu Stone - Yajiaxu Glass Viewing Platform - Daotong Rock - Wolonggang - Dadong Village (You have to climb 1/2 of the route to see the scenery, and it's mostly stairs! The path is not easy to walk, some places have fallen trees! And there are a lot of weeds and mosquitoes! Those who like excitement can go for it)

Lishui Ancient Street was formed during the Qing Dynasty, with a total length of over 300 meters. In the old days, more than 90 shops were connected by a long corridor, which was built along the water, winding with the water's flow. Red lanterns hung under the corridor, facing the towering ancient trees and their green shadows.
Lishui Ancient Street was built on the water storage dike at the eastern edge of the Yantou Village settlement. The dike was constructed during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. At that time, the local clans decreed that only flowers could be planted, trees could be grown, and pavilions could be built on the dike, but no houses or businesses were allowed. By the Qing Dynasty, the long dike of Yantou Village had become an essential route for salt carriers.
At the southern end of Lishui Street is the south gate of the stockade wall, with the Chengfeng Pavilion on the high steps beside the gate. Less than 50 meters from the pavilion, there is another pavilion called Jieguan Pavilion, with double eaves and a clustered top, simple and solemn. Together with the Lishui Ancient Bridge, these two pavilions add a beautiful scenery line to the commerce of Lishui.

Lishui Street, also known as the Lishui Corridor, is located on the water storage dike on the eastern edge of Yantou Village, Yantou Town, Yongjia County. It is built by the water, lives by the water, and thrives because of the water. The ancient street is like a string of pearls, set between the long river of history and the scroll of nature. Not only is it a hub for commerce, but it is also a place where culture has precipitated, carrying countless stories and memories from ancient to modern times. In the Nanxi River basin of Yongjia, Yantou is the only ancient village laid out with comprehensive water conservancy facilities, founded in the late Five Dynasties as a settlement for the Jin family. The ancient street can be traced back to the 35th year of the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty (1556) when Jin Guilin Gong built the village's water conservancy project and constructed a section of the dam wall that served as a barrier. Beautiful eaves were built on the dike, originally intended to provide shelter from the sun and rain for passersby. At that time, local clans stipulated that no houses could be built on the dike for commercial purposes. However, since the Qing Dynasty, the dike eventually became a bustling place where merchants gathered and salt porters came and went, and the smoke of human life here gradually thickened. Even though it suffered from the fire during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom period, the ancient street has been restored in recent years, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, regaining its former glory. Upon entering, the Lishui Bridge is the time-space messenger that greets us. This three-arched stone slab bridge, built in the 37th year of Jiajing of Ming Shizong (1558), has withstood the test of time and remains as solid as ever. The stone slabs on the bridge are neatly arranged, the stream under the bridge babbles, and the pedestrians on the bridge are like a woven tapestry, blending the ancient and the modern, forming a beautiful picture. Beside the bridge, an ancient camphor tree over three hundred years old stands tall, with lush branches and leaves, witnessing the changes of Lishui Street. Standing on the bridge, one can see the centuries of history flowing by and hear the hurried footsteps of the ancients echoing. A few steps to the south, the dignified Jieguan Pavilion greets every passerby. It has stood here since the 35th year of Jiajing (1556), witnessing countless moments of glory returning. The couplet inside the pavilion, 'Famous teachers leave wonders, strange craftsmen amuse passersby,' reflects the profound culture of reading and farming in the ancient village of Yantou. The nearby bitter chestnut tree has experienced more than five hundred years of wind, frost, rain, and snow, like a wise man who has experienced vicissitudes, silently telling the legend of this land.
