Yizheng is a county-level city under the administration of Yangzhou in mid-west Jiangsu province. It has numerous historical attractions including the Tang dynasty Tianyu Pagoda, a Song dynasty well, a Ming dynasty bell tower and the tomb of the Qing dynasty scholar Zhou Taigu. There are also several scenic attractions including Dengyue Lake, known for its crystal-clear water, lush vegetation and spectacular sunsets.
