Top tips to spot wildlife in Yellowstone National Park 🦬
As a traveller who’s constantly amazed by the wildlife in US National Parks, here are some of my top tips for you at #yellowstonenationalpark !
🌅 Tip 1: plan have do your adventure either early morning in the day, or evening close to sunset time. This is because the animals are usually less active and hide in the shades in the middle of the afternoon and that makes them much harder to spot.
🌾 Tip 2: In Yellowstone, animals tend to gather around large, flat areas with few trees, and they tend to come in groups. So it’s best to save your effort in spotting when you are at such areas!
🚗 Tip 3: It is not uncommon to spot animals along the driveway, though it can be easy to miss! One trick that always work for me is to slow down whenever you see other cars are slowing down, that usually means that they have spotted something nearby!
🦬 Tip 4: Safety should always be your top priority! Respect the animals, and as harmless as the animals might look, remember that they are still wild animals and can potentially see you as a threat an attack you (even if you have no intention to harm them). Be sure to always maintain a safety distance.

Exploring Yellowstone National Park:Geysers, Wildlife, and a Stay at Old Faithful Inn
#nationalparks #100waysoftravel #yellowstonenationalpark #oldfaithful #bison #bison #travelusa #geyser
My visit to Yellowstone National Park with parents was an unforgettable experience, filled with awe-inspiring natural wonders. We chose to stay at the historic Old Faithful Inn, as we were concerned about the possibility of bears wandering nearby at night. The inn offered both comfort and a front-row seat to the famous Old Faithful geyser, which erupts with impressive precision. Yellowstone is known for its incredible geothermal features, and we marveled at the vibrant Grand Prismatic Spring, the bubbling mud pots, and the otherworldly Norris Geyser Basin. Wildlife is abundant, and we were able to spot bison roaming the park, but knowing how dangerous they can be, we wisely observed them from a safe distance inside our car with the windows tightly closed. While the geysers are the park’s main attraction, Yellowstone also offers stunning waterfalls, dramatic canyons like the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and beautiful hiking trails that showcase the diverse landscape. Overall, it’s a place where nature’s raw power and beauty are on full display.

Yellowstone National Park was one of the most incredible places I’ve ever visited! The park’s diverse landscapes, from geysers to canyons, make it feel like you’re on another planet. Entry was $35 per vehicle, which is valid for 7 days—definitely worth it considering the vast amount of things to see.
I spent my first day exploring the iconic Old Faithful geyser, which erupts like clockwork. The Grand Prismatic Spring was another highlight, with its vibrant rainbow colors standing out against the surrounding landscape. Hiking through the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone was breathtaking, and the views of Lower Falls were unforgettable. There’s also an abundance of wildlife, including bison, elk, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a bear! Yellowstone is truly a nature lover's dream. 🌋🌲🐻

West Yellow Stone National Park
Half a mile boardwalk nature trail located in West part of Yellow Stone National Park.
The short boardwalk loop of this hydrothermal area found in the park features mudpots, geysers, hot springs, and fumaroles. You can see them all from a compact half-mile long boardwalk loop. While none of the many Fountain Paint Pot Area geysers are as famous as Old Faithful, they erupt so frequently that you are almost guaranteed a great show on your short hike.
Its a non tedious hike and worth the visit, it comes with guaranteed lesson in hydrothermal volcanism. It surely has more to offer. Highly recommend this wondrous place in WYOMING USA!
Upcoming post is the affordable Log Cabin we stayed at. homey feels, luxury on a budget and a hotel quite unique experience!

The water fluctuations of the large prisms - Yellowstone Scenery 3 (below)
Stopped on the path of the "Great Prism". For a long time, this is the largest hot spring in the United States with a diameter of about 100 meters and a water temperature of 85 °C. And the world's third-largest hot spring, watching it flood the ground to 2 tons of huge water per minute; these hot springs flow and paved a steaming, misty fairyland, known as the "Earth The most beautiful surface".
In the absolutely original region of "Great Prism", everyone who comes here will see different paintings at different times and at different angles, seeing all the magic and all kinds of impossible .
Perhaps because of a minor earthquake yesterday;
perhaps because of the impact of the groundwater level;
perhaps because the geothermal heat of the basin is again sprayed a lot;
where the water surface of the large prism occurs every day Change, every day shows magic.
When I was on the trail when the morning mist had not yet dispersed, as the thin clouds covered the sun, the clouds opened the sunrise, until the blue sky and white clouds left, the steam, light and shadow, ripples of the large prism spring surface were intertwined. Together, there is an epic and fascinating ecological picture.
Although the closer to the Grand Prism Hot Spring, the more you can't see the full picture of the standard, but the closer the distance, the water wave under the front of the foot is at your fingertips, it seems to be able to appreciate the heat around it, it seems to be able to hear It is gentle and mysterious. I chose this "immersive" with an unparalleled feeling.
captured happiness.
ROARING MOUNTAIN
Geographically, the location of this mountain is in the complex area of the Ijen Mountains and is the highest peak of the mountain range. Calculated from the highest point, Mount Raung is the third highest mountain in East Java after Mount Semeru and Mount Arjuno, and is the fourth highest on the island of Java. Mount Raung caldera is also the largest dry caldera on the island of Java and the second largest in Indonesia after Mount Tambora in West Nusa Tenggara.[3] There are four peak points, namely the Flag Peak, Peak 17/Puncak Bendera (3159 masl), the Toothpick Peak, (3300 masl) and, the highest, the True Peak (3,344 masl).

Yellowstone is not just the first national park in the United States. It is also the world’s first national park. Yellowstone is also one of the most unique national parks in the world. Because it lies on top of a super-volcano, the area is literally a hotbed of geothermal activity. The West Thumb Geyser Basin is located on the shores of Yellowstone Lake. Although this is one of the smallest geyser basins in Yellowstone, it does contain a well-known geothermal feature, the Fishing Cone Geyser. There is also a spot in Yellowstone Lake’s Mary Bay where water temperatures of 252 degrees F have been recorded. Visitors who want to stay near this lake should book their accommodations at either the Lake Yellowstone Hotel, which was originally built in 1891, or the Lake Lodge Cabins. The Norris Geyser Basin is the oldest in Yellowstone. It is also the hottest and contains rare acid geysers. Norris is divided into two sections, the Porcelain Basin and the Back Basin. At Mammoth Hot Springs, steaming hot water flows over travertine terraces, creating a beautiful but otherworldly scene. Some people have even described Mammoth Hot Springs as a cave turned inside out. The Mammoth Hot Springs area is divided into two sections, the Upper and Lower Terraces.

Meet the most beautiful surface of the earth in Yellowstone National Park 2.
⛺ Fountain Paint Pot
The paint pot is a mud fountain. The minerals in the soil and rocks are dissolved by the acidic hot springs to form mud. Because the viscosity of the mud is very high, you can clearly see the slow formation and disappearance of bubbles. This is a hot spring with a high temperature, usually showing a blue or dark green tone. Walking here, you will see a strong sense of vicissitudes, like the end of the world. Perhaps the environment here is too harsh and not suitable for the growth of trees.
🛬 Norris Geyser Basin
Norris Geyser Basin is located on the west side of Yellowstone National Park. It is the hottest, most active, and most unstable series of geysers in Yellowstone National Park.
The world's largest geyser, Steamboat Geyser, is also located in this area. It has been dormant for a long time and erupts only once in a long time. The last eruption was in 2008. The hot springs here are always changing, with new hot springs appearing and old hot springs drying up. A small earthquake can change the hot spring area, and the different colors in the water can show the different water temperatures.
🏨 Biscuit Basin
As the name suggests, the fountains here are like small biscuits, without large pools, but with very bright colors.
The basin has many small and unique geothermal landscapes, among which the "Sapphire Pool" is the essence of this area, pure as a gem, and the deep blue seems to suck people in.
🧡 Fishing Bridge
Fishing Bridge spans the Yellowstone River and is the outlet of Yellowstone Lake, with a long history.
The blue waves under the bridge are very refreshing, with blue sky, green trees, and clear water. Visitors can walk to the shore under the bridge to play in the water.
Fishing Bridge was once a good place for fishing, but later the park banned fishing to protect the ecology of Yellowstone National Park. In June and July, you can watch wild trout swim upstream to spawn.

These Six North American National Parks Healed My Mental Exhaustion
🔹Have you heard of the '20-Minute Park Effect'?
🔹It's said that spending 20 minutes in a park each day can improve your well-being.
🔹Today, I want to introduce six North American national parks—
🔹Here, you can either hike deep into nature to escape the city or sit down and gaze at distant glaciers and snow lakes for a therapeutic experience.
Jasper National Park, Canada
⭐Real-Life Ice Age
The largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, home to the Columbia Icefield, the largest icefield outside the Arctic Circle.
The glacier has its own public transportation—a giant snow coach with tires as tall as a person. There are only 23 of these vehicles in the world.
You can ride the snow coach across the icefield, or if you're an adventurer, you can walk on the glacier and feel the adrenaline rush.
Yoho National Park, Canada
⭐The Blue Lake Chosen by Canadian Currency
Among the six parks, Yoho is the smallest but hides a treasure lake featured on the 20-dollar Canadian bill—Moraine Lake. Due to the refraction of rock flour, Moraine Lake appears in an elegant blue-green color. Yoho boasts diverse landscapes and the chance to see snow-capped peaks.
Banff National Park, Canada
⭐The Sapphire of Glacier Lakes
Banff is Canada's first national park, once contested for its rare hot springs.
It hides one of Canada's most important 'sapphires'—Lake Louise, also considered the diamond of the Rockies.
You can also take a 360-degree panoramic gondola up Sulphur Mountain at 2,285 meters, observing the Rockies from a god's-eye view.
Waterton Lakes National Park, Canada
⭐Filming Location of 'Brokeback Mountain'
Waterton Lakes is located on the US-Canada border, nestled in a narrow part of the Rockies, offering unique prairie scenery and serving as a filming location for 'Brokeback Mountain.'
Here, you can ride horses through forests and rivers, following western cowboys and enjoying the leisurely life of the ranch.
Yellowstone National Park, USA
⭐Earth's Color Palette on a Volcano
The world's first national park, a collection of stunning natural wonders.
The Grand Prismatic Spring radiates blue, green, yellow, and orange colors from its center, earning it the title of 'the most beautiful surface on Earth.'
Old Faithful Geyser erupts every 90 minutes, shooting water columns up to 40 meters high.
Beneath Yellowstone lies a supervolcano; walking through the park, the ground seems to steam, making it an adventure in itself.
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
⭐Scenic Habitat
Unlike Yellowstone, Grand Teton offers endless prairies, glaciers nestled in canyons, and lakes reflecting the blue sky.
At Jackson Lake, you can boat and fish, enjoying a relaxing and leisurely time.
🔹Did you notice that these six parks are distributed from north to south along the Rockies?
🔹More importantly, if you're interested, you can even take a journey from north to south, traversing the six national parks. As the latitude changes, so do the species and landscapes, as if you're reading a walking geography magazine!
Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or looking for a quiet place to heal, these six North American national parks are great choices.
Feel free to reach out if you're interested.

Lamer river trails at Yellowstone national park
I recommend you to go Lamar river trail in early morning. The trail is very quiet and peaceful with beautiful bird’s songs. We barely saw people on the trail. You can see lots of squirrels and pronghorns running on the fields. We couldn’t see wolves and bears, but people say there are good chances to see them in the early morning and evening. (Not on the trail, but we could see baby bear near here.)

Baby bisons in Yellowstone national park
We visited Yellowstone national park at the end of June and it was the best time to see baby animals. On the Lamar River road, you can closely see bisons and its babies. Babies run and their mothers seem very chill. In the morning and noon, they are around the river and far from the driveway. (We can still see them with a binoculars.) In the evening time, they starts to across the road and you can see them very closely!

Observing Yellowstone National Park's Wildlife
#usatravel #wyoming
When we traveled to Yellowstone National Park, we expected to see its abundant and diverse wildlife and hoped for a chance to observe some of North America's most iconic animal species in their natural habitat.
Driving around the park left us stunned by its vastness; it would take days to complete the entire roundtrip. Yet, it's not just big; it's incredibly beautiful and teeming with life.
During our journey, we encountered a variety of wildlife, including bison, elk, birds, and bighorn sheep. Although we didn't spot any wolves or grizzly bears, it was still a truly memorable experience.
Tips for Wildlife Viewing include being respectful and maintaining a safe distance from wildlife. We used binoculars and a telephoto lens to observe them from a distance, allowing us to safely enjoy watching these beautiful creatures without disturbing them.

A mesmerizing expanse of natural wonders
#2024wish
Yellowstone National Park, a mesmerizing expanse of natural wonders, captivates visitors with its awe-inspiring beauty. Three years ago, I immersed myself in the park's breathtaking landscapes, where geothermal features paint the earth with vibrant hues and powerful geysers punctuate the scenery. The iconic Old Faithful, a testament to nature's rhythmic spectacle, showcases the park's dynamic energy.
Yellowstone's diverse ecosystem thrives with wildlife, offering glimpses of bison, elk, and grizzlies against a backdrop of pristine wilderness. The park's geologic wonders, from the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to the vivid Mammoth Hot Springs, create a kaleidoscope of colors and formations. The sheer magnitude of Yellowstone's grandeur transcends verbal expression, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to witness its splendor.
In 2024, I wish to visit New York.

Yellowstone National Park in the United States.
Yellowstone National Park, USA is the first national park in the United States, and its fame is self-evident. I first learned about it in the disaster movie "2012". There are wild animals, forests, hot springs, and canyons. I finally came here in person during this year's May Day holiday. There is still some snow in Yellowstone National Park in May, and some areas are not open, but the flaws do not detract from the beauty!
📝Attention tips: Yellowstone National Park in May is relatively cold, and many hot springs will produce a large amount of steam, making it difficult to see the spring water itself!
matilda_evelyn_rosewood
Go to Yellowstone National Park to admire the colorful geological wonders of lava volcanoes, geothermal tuff and ash rocks.
After the eruption of the Yellowstone volcano, lava and volcanic tuff buried the area. The high-temperature gases and hot water brought by geothermal activity weakened the rocks. Rivers eroded and carved out the canyon between Tower Falls and Lower Falls. The canyon presents different colors. The red color is caused by the oxidation of iron compounds in the acidic volcanic rock rhyolite that was cooked by the liquid brought by geothermal activity. The yellow color is the result of the interaction of iron and sulfur in the rocks.

Yellowstone National Park, the largest wildlife park in America.
As the largest wildlife sanctuary in the United States, Yellowstone National Park is home to a large number of wild animals. The most commonly seen animals in Yellowstone are herds of American bison, and deer and antelope can also be seen from time to time. People even have the opportunity to see reindeer fighting with their solid antlers, black bears playing on the grasslands, and occasionally see eagles spreading their wings and flying from the sky.
