One-day trip to Xuejia Hollyhock Flower Season ~ The flower wall is so beautiful
#MarchGoodPlaces2025
#Tainan
Every spring, Xuejia in Tainan will be surrounded by a vast sea of pink hollyhock flowers. This time I finally got the time to go and see them all, it was really worth it!
Walking into the hollyhock field, it feels like you have accidentally walked into a fairy tale scene. A whole row of tall flower walls and flowers taller than people are so dreamy that I can't stop clicking my phone.

How to learn about the hollyhock flower season? Traffic information is simply organized
By car:
We started from downtown Tainan, which is about an hour's drive away. Directly set the navigation to "Xiajia Hollyhock Flower Season" or "Xiajia Tianhou Temple". There are signs along the way and volunteers to help guide parking, which is quite convenient. There will be temporary parking lots during the flower season, so it is recommended to arrive early when there are many people.
By public transportation:
If you don't drive, you can take the Green Line bus from Tainan Railway Station to the Xiajia Transfer Station, and then walk or ride a YouBike to the flower field. It's about a 15-minute journey, or you can call a taxi.

How beautiful are hollyhock flowers? It's amazing to see it in person
The hollyhock field is right next to the Xuejia Tianhou Temple. A large area of colorful hollyhocks looks like a natural rainbow wall, with white, pink, red, and purple flowers. Each plant is taller than a person. It is very romantic to stand in the middle and take pictures. Standing anywhere feels like you are in an idol drama. During the flower season, there will be some art installations and handmade stalls. The atmosphere is very leisurely and it is also suitable for bringing children or elders for a walk.
