Xinxiang (新乡) is located in northern Henan Province at the southeastern edge of the Taihang (太行) Mountains and abutting the Yellow River to the south. Ancient Xinxiang was the site of the Battle of Mingtiao (鸣条), the Battle of Muye (牧野), and other major conflicts, and many historical relics and artifacts can be found there. Colors of Henan— “The Mother of China”
Living in Shanghai makes you lose touch with the real China. Truth is, many provinces in China are not yet as developed. Henan is such a province-many people still struggle with poverty and arriving there, it felt like I had gone back in time.
However, Henan a place with immense historical significance. Henan is often referred to as "The mother of China" because historians say that Chinese civilization originated in this region.
During our stay, we visited The Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese cave carvings from the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties. We also visited Shaolin temple, often known as the birthplace of martial arts and Zen Buddhism, and watched masters of kungfu practice their craft.
In Henan, I got to see a different side of China, and it has only made me love this country even more.

Xinxiang hotel! Just checked out! Don't come!
Because I don't want to check out when staying at the hotel with my boyfriend:
✔️Xiaodu, Xiaodu, help me turn on the TV
✔️Xiaodu, Xiaodu, help me turn off the lights
✔️Xiaodu, Xiaodu, help me open the curtains...
It's so comfortable here, it's perfect for lazy people like me. 🙏 Fully smart! ❗️
I don't want to check out when I come to the hotel with my boyfriend on weekends.
The bed is so comfortable to lie on. 😵💫
100-inch projection, VIP, watch whatever you want. 📺
The toiletries here are also very complete, you don't need to bring anything! Just bring yourself. 👍
👍 The breakfast is also rich, and there is afternoon tea that sisters like. The minimalist Muji style is my favorite. I also like to take photos here. The main thing is that it is clean! Hygienic! Convenient transportation!

Taian Dasong Sleepless City.
At night, when the neon lights gradually light up, the night carnival begins. The ancient and quaint Song-style buildings are beautiful under the bright lights. The streets and alleys are full of red lanterns emitting a warm glow. We seem to have traveled back to the prosperous Song Dynasty a thousand years ago. We were surrounded by the bustling crowd and walked slowly forward. When there was a dance performance by ancient beauties, we stopped to watch, and then strolled around the "Dongping Mansion" and "Taishi Mansion" next to it. In the main hall of Dongping Mansion, we traveled back to the Song Dynasty to judge the case of the prefecture, and felt the majesty of the ancient prefecture. Fortunately, we caught up with the shocking fireworks show. The colorful fireworks lit up the entire night sky, which was beautiful and dreamy, adding a festive atmosphere to our journey.

Exploring Tianjie Mountain
🌄 Exploring Tianjie Mountain 🌅
🏞️ Visiting the magnificent chapter of South Taihang — Henan Tianjie Mountain, which is described as 'the most beautiful section of Taihang' by 'Chinese National Geography'. With great anticipation, I set out to explore this enchanting natural wonder.
🌄 The towering Taihang Mountains, with their high mountains and flowing waters, and the majestic red rock cliffs like giant curtains between heaven and earth, turn every breath into a stirring symphony. Standing on the 360-degree Cloud Peak Gallery, I gaze at the spectacular scenery before me, feeling my heartbeat quicken and my soul tremble.
🛤️ My steps move slowly on the cliff-hanging road of Huilong Village, a life path chiseled out by the villagers with their hands, with every inch recording sweat and perseverance. The nine-kilometer journey is both a challenge and a homage to nature.
🌧️ After the rain, Tianjie Mountain becomes the home of the sea of clouds. The mist surges like tides, swirling among the mountains, turning this place into a dreamy fairyland. I feel as if I am in the heavens, enjoying this unique spectacle.
🚫 Entering this pure land, I will practice the principle of leaving no trace, respecting and protecting every piece of greenery and every rock here.
🎉 In these mountains and fields, I will seek that pure joy and welcome that free and passionate self.

【Excellent Location】
🚅 It only takes ten minutes by car, and before I had enough of the scenery on the way, I stepped from the hurried pace of the high-speed rail station into the tranquility and warmth of this hotel.
🛒 When you come to Xinxiang, you must experience the Donglai culture. On Friday, it's Big Dong, and on Saturday, it's Little Dong. In just twenty minutes by car, I arrived at the shopping paradise for Henan people. I bought mooncakes bigger than my face, super cost-effective nut cereals, and had steaming hot Hui noodles. It was truly an authentic experience of Henan's Donglai culture 😋
【Enthusiastic Service】
👧🏻 The service at the front desk is really top-notch. As soon as you step into the hotel lobby, you can see their enthusiastic smiles. Gentle greetings, proficient check-in procedures, and thoughtful guidance make the first impression perfect 💗. The lobby also offers free freshly ground coffee ☕, making the experience absolutely 💯.
【Super Nice Room】
🛏️ When you enter the room and insert the card, the curtains automatically open, offering a wide view. There's also a welcome message from Xiaodu, instantly boosting emotional value 🆙. Most importantly, there's a separation of wet and dry areas! The shower space is absolutely large, with a high-pressure rain shower, making hot showers super comfortable 😌. The zero-pressure mattress and pillows with adjustable height and softness provided me with a whole night of quality sleep. Every corner of the room is meticulously clean, giving a sense of security 💗. No more worries about hygiene issues.
I fell in love with this place after just one stay and added it to my repurchase list 📓. I'll stay here again next time 🙈.

Visiting the grand courtyards of Shanxi
I can't help but recall the scene of my first trip to Shanxi 11 years ago. In fact, I talked with a classmate about going to Shanxi during the May Day holiday. It was his tour group that I joined for my first visit to Shanxi in 2009.
Walking along the path of the afterlife, I saw the Wang's Grand Courtyard, Pingyao Ancient City, and the Qiao Family Courtyard. It was truly a worthwhile trip. The architecture in Shanxi is indeed stunning, reflecting how remarkable the people of Shanxi were at that time. Some had businesses that spanned the globe, while others were skilled craftsmen.
