The Wanfenglin scenic area has many adorable boutique style hotels with breathtaking views of the mountains, farms and rice fields. The Wanfenglin Linjingtang Holiday Inn, was no exception. We loved the beautifully decorated rooms and the open public spaces overlooking the gorgeous mountain scenery. It is close to many restaurants, bike hire and the the park's shuttle bus. The Ten-Thousand Peak Forest

Wanfenglin (Ten-Thousand Peak Forest) is a must see scenic spot located in beautiful Xingyi, Guizhou. There are many ways to enjoy this area's beauty. Shuttle bus- For ¥110 you can take a shuttle bus up the mountain to get a spectacular view of the fields and villages below and the surrounding mountain peaks. After climbing up the mountain, the shuttle will take you through the fields and villages and back to your your starting point. Bikes & Scooters- Hire a bike or a scooter and cycle along the winding roads that take you through the fields and villages. There are lots of gorgeous little coffee shops, cafes and restaurants to stop at along the way! You can also walk or drive around the area, however, bikes and scooters are more convenient. Yixing Wanfo Temple

If you are in the Wanfenglin scenic area, make sure you visit the Yixing Wanfo Temple. This temple is unique because it is built in a cave on the side of a mountain! Adjacent to the main temple is a pagoda and opposite is a smaller mountain which also has it's own temple. Spicy Xingyi

Xingyi, in Guizhou is an amazing place to go. still not spoilt by mass tourism it is a blast to the past where people live life at a slower pace. This place is a typical farming community. Some of whom are renting out property and building hotels to diversify their income and protect themselves from the changeable nature of farming. The local people make these spicy chilis for themselves and if your stroll around the area there are endless tea fields, that have been in use for a long time. All in all, this is a place to see the team China, and not just any China. but rural China. Some people struggle. some people are prosperous. Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks

Literally translating as Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks, Wanfenglin is one of China’s largest areas of karst landscape, famed for its tower-like fenglin formations. On either side of the valley, the karst hills rise from the horizon like humps on a sleeping dragon’s back. 🌲This area has what many popular areas lost long ago - a palpable sense of being well off the international tourist trail. And the best way is to cycling around instead of taking the suttle bus. The area is super clean with a sense of calm. make sure to take active wear because there are a lot of outdoor activities to do, and the best way to enjoy the area is by bike. The… Castle?

Situated in the middle of a lake in the south-west of Guizhou Province sits one of the most random sights … a castle. Like a full-on fairytale-inspired castle. You’ll have to rent a car to get here from town and the roads aren’t the best but in terms of unique sights that you really wouldn’t be sxpecting to get then you can’t get much more random than this. For people wanting to snap some shots, highly recommend bringing a drone. The scale of the castle as well as the roads and paths around it don’t make it the easiest to grab without one. There is also a hotel across the path if you would like to stay within sight of a European castle kind of thing but I would recommend just coming for sunset to grab some snaps and leave #themepark

Malinghe

Malinghe is a small city located in and around the Guizhou border with Yunnan. While not the easiest spot in Guizhou to get to, it’s Yangshuo/Guilin-like mountainous landscape but without the mountains of people makes it a relaxing spot to spend the weekend. With the Malinghe waterfall canyon you also get one of the coolest canyons in China. Walk down to the bottom and you’ll find yourself along a refurbished path with waterfalls cascading down on both sides of the canyon. Just be sure to check the weather beforehand. We went during the dry season and while you could tell it would be impressive during the rainy season, it wasn’t quite as impressive at that moment. #waterfall#naturalwonders#hiking

Xingyi Wanfenglin: Karst Qiguan Wanfenglin is located in the southeast of Xingyi City, Guizhou Province. It is a national-level scenic spot, a national AAAA-level scenic spot, the most beautiful five peak forests in China, and the first batch of industrial and agricultural tourism demonstration zones in China. Wanfenglin belongs to the southwestern karst landform of China. It is called the China Cone Karst Museum and is known as the World Wonders. Wanfenglin consists of East and West Peak Forests with different landscapes. It is the largest and most typical karst peak forest in China. More than 316 years ago, the famous geographer and traveler Xu Xiake came to Wanfenglin. He also issued such a sigh: "There are so many mountains in the world, only the peaks here are forests." Xu Xiake once again came to Xingyi and wrote in his travel notes: "The peak of Cong Li, thousands of miles, is the southwestern odd."

## There are Wanfeng Lake outside Wanfeng Forest. Lake Wanfeng, the most southwestern, landscape painting. Two seas in Dali, Yunnan, and 76 in West Lake, Hangzhou. On the blue waters of the boat, people are in the middle of the painting. "It is not the Lijiang River, it is better than the Lijiang River." Among them, a section of the river is narrowed, and the mountains and rivers on both sides are continuous. The two mountains in the gorge rise from the water. Here, because of the distance from the hustle and bustle of the city, plus the mountains and the dreamy green, it is quiet and peaceful. Especially when the night falls, the entire scenic spot is shrouded in the starry sky, which makes people feel like they are in a dreamland. With this magnificent starry sky and the Milky Way, I gradually wake up from my sleep and greet myself. It is also a mountain peak and dreamy light and shadow, as if the fairy tale world is generally romantic and charming.

The village is small but very primitive, and there are no other visitors except us. The villagers are very friendly, just to not disturb their lives, I basically did not shoot people. The beautiful roof is my dish. The rafting of the Maling River is very commendable in China. The first is the length. The whole journey is 22 kilometers. The second is the scenery on both sides. Even if you dont see the waterfall, it looks very much like the Ayong River in Bali. A shoal, 22 small slopes, playing it is quite exciting, really screaming all the way, laughing all the way. The valley is particularly quiet, and there are a few bird humming sounds from time to time, flying a few butterflies, so that we are always surprised to live in the city.

Where did Dad go? To Yubulu Tiankeng!

Located in Xingyi City, this trumpet flower-shaped sinkhole is flat at the bottom and has a height difference of over 600 meters. The sinkhole is surrounded by strange peaks. 126 households live around the bottom of the sinkhole, with stone houses, stone walls, stone roads, woods, and bamboo groves forming a natural landscape. There is a spring on the eastern side of the sinkhole, which not only provides drinking water for the residents and livestock, but also irrigates over 200 acres of fertile land. On the western side, there is a water cave that drains excess water. This sinkhole has been called the largest sinkhole in China by geologists.

Maling River Gorge, Qianxinan - The Most Beautiful Crack on Earth.

Maling River, also known as "Qingshui River", is one of the tributaries of the Nanpan River in the upper reaches of the Pearl River. It originates from the old factory in Panzhou, Guizhou, and is 142.5 km long. In Xingyi City, Maling River forms a gorge that is more than 70 km long and more than 300 m deep. It is known as the "most beautiful scar on Earth" and has hundreds of waterfalls. In 2011, Maling River Gorge was ranked as one of the top 10 most beautiful karst gorges in China by China National Geographic, ranking third.
