3300m asl, on the crossroad of National Road 318, between Kangding City and Tagong Grassland, 258 km from Chengdu. Third stop of my road trip from Chengdu, after Mugecuo and Tagong (60km away). There is a photography corridor of about 10 kilometers long outside of Xinduqiao Town which is regarded as the best place to shoot awesome photos in Xinduqiao. The small Tibetan villages are on both sides of the Road 318. Juli Temple the nearest temple in Xinduqiao, about 16 km in the south, sect of Gelug (yellow hat), I arrived during the daily morning chanting and they let me get inside the main all and one monk am did show me around, very nice!
