At the end of last year, I had the opportunity to travel to Laos. We crossed the border from Nakhon Phanom, took a boat across the border, and stayed for 1 night and 2 days. The Lao side is adjacent to Khammouan Province. When we arrived, it was almost evening, so we went to find something to eat at the Center Point Market. We checked in to the hotel late at night and went to sit and chill at a bar. The atmosphere was okay. They played Thai music all night. The next morning, we went to Tha Frang. The entrance was a bit dusty, but when we got there, it was forgivable because the nature was really beautiful. The atmosphere was good, the water was green and clear. There were many rafts and food to order. Oh, there were also coffee shops and other souvenir shops. If anyone comes to visit Nakhon Phanom, try crossing the border and come visit. Tha Farang, a super chill riverside accommodation amidst nature, with mountains on both sides and a stream in the middle of the mountain. Offering accommodation in the form of raft houses and individual houses, each with air conditioning and a private bathroom. When you open your room, you'll see a stream. The water is very clear with fish swimming around. There is also a restaurant where you can sit in a pavilion in the water. You can soak your feet. There are lots of fish. The food is delicious. You can order a barbecue and sit in front of your room. It is about 16 kilometers from the city of Tha Khaek, on the same route as Nang Aen Cave. It is about 1 kilometer from the main road.

We crossed the border from Nakhon Phanom Province by boat across the Thai-Laos border and hired a tour car at the pier on the Lao side for 1,000 baht per day. The staff provided excellent service and took us on a tour from morning until night. They gave us advice and service from the first day until the day we returned. Another place we liked was Nang Aen Cave because it was easy to get to. There are many activities to do inside the cave, such as taking a boat ride in the cave, zip-lining to see the atmosphere, exploring the beauty of the cave, and a bridge across the river (a bit scary because it’s high). We went at the end of the year and the weather was great, cool and not too cold. Oh, and there are coffee shops, minimarts, and restaurants in the area. So rest assured that you won’t be hungry. How to get there - By car Tourist attraction - Nang Aen Cave, Laos Nang Aen Cave is a beautiful cave with colorful stalactites and stalagmites. The air is cool inside the cave like air conditioning. There is an entrance fee to the cave of 30,000 kip per person. And there are zipline activities and boat trips in the cave. But you have to pay an additional fee.
