Laos | Traveling to the land of rice
#Overseas Travel #Laos Travel #Natural Travel
Laos, also known as Laos, is located in the south of Yunnan, China, bordering Zhaonan to the east and separated from Thailand by the Mekong River. Laos has always been relatively closed and has little contact with the outside world. Few people have ever set foot in this country. Since the outside world does not know much about the lives of the local people, Laos is also full of mystery.
After actually traveling around, I found that the Lao people are simple and mainly grow rice. When the rice is ripe, the whole field will turn golden yellow, which is very beautiful.
Once upon a time, there were people in Hong Kong who also planted rice in large quantities. The rice grown in Kam Tin, Yuen Long was even known as "Yuen Long Silk Rice". In today's fully urbanized Hong Kong society, agriculture is no longer valued. The remaining places that still grow rice are only for scientific research or self-sufficiency. Traditionally, people made their living through farming, and rice was the main staple food produced in southern China and Southeast Asian countries.
