Park Kyung-ri Memorial Hall: A Place of Literature and Culture
If you're visiting Tongyeong with your partner, it's great to enjoy the beautiful scenery, but I also recommend stopping by the Park Kyung-ri Memorial Hall to enrich your cultural and literary knowledge together.
This memorial hall is dedicated to the renowned author Park Kyung-ri, famous for her work 'Land'. It offers a meaningful experience as you can trace her footsteps and legacy. 📚

Wonju Osaek Makguksu, where I went to have a quick lunch with friends!
Even though it was a little past lunchtime, the restaurant was crowded. This is definitely a local restaurant! The boiled pork came out first, and the tender boiled pork, spicy and savory radish greens, rich potato pancake, and clean and light Makguksu went well together, making for a delicious and satisfying meal! I recommend this place!!

Its a must see if you visit Wonju.
Surprised, The new suspension bridge that is 2 kms right after the blue bridge, following the path extension.
It was a unique experience!
The view is breathtaking in both bridges!
Be prepared to to climb hundreds of steps to reach the first bridge, but it's worth every step to get there!
Suggesting arranging to have at least 4 hours to spend for the whole walk.
The whole area is still under renovation. They are building a cable car, which eventually make things much more easy. #mytripvlog #breathtaking #mountainview #nature
Worth-visiting flower festival in Wonju, Gangwon Province ❤️
#SpringFlowers
Although the flowers were not in great condition when I visited, it was probably due to the intense red color 🤭 The pretty sky was also beautiful ⛅️ I kept taking photos because it was so lovely 📸
Despite the poor state of the flowers, the entrance fee was not wasted at all 😊 By the way, the cute little umbrella that adds a great touch to the photo is available for free rental at the entrance, so be sure to grab it and take your best shot ❤️

A small Europe in Wonju, a delicious brunch on the table.
#ForeignVibes
I'm going to Wonju for fun! My friend, who always called Wonju a boring city, was proven wrong when they took me to a cafe that was absolutely lovely and beautiful. It's a brand new cafe that hasn't even posted 100 pictures on their feed yet, so it's a super fresh and trendy spot. The owner's touch is evident in every corner of the cafe, and there are even vintage props that are so pretty they'll make your eyes spin. And don't even get me started on how delicious the brunch was, it was packed with so much goodness. If you have any plans to travel to Wonju, be sure to stop by Yongso Makseungdang!

Fall in love with suspension bridges !!
A short trip to Wonju. Although i base in Seoul for my South Korea Autumn trip , almost everyday I went out to some small city to enjoy natural beauty of South Korea . Just 90 mins bus ride away Seoul and packed with beautiful nature and beautiful small town - Wonju. I am obsessed with all famous suspension bridge where famous Korea drama movie place ( It’s ok not to be ok ) and that is the longest suspension bridge in South Korea connected between two Rocky Mountains in Sogeumsan Valley. Such a beautiful place to chill and relax yourself with Mother Nature, and good exercise for the person who like hiking as well. The scenery are breathtaking and so lovely.
Just bought bus ticket from Seoul to wonju at Seoul bus terminal ( 8100 🇰🇷 won= 8 sgd ) and very comfortable ride . And from opposite bus terminal can take bus to Sogeumsan valley and it took about one hours plus, with less then 2 sgd . Hope you all enjoy the bridge like me !!

Amazing Mountain Suspension Bridge
#celebratewithtrip
Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge is located in Wonju.
It is 100 meters high and 200 meters long, making it one of the longest and also the scariest bridges in Korea.
This bridge between the mountains fascinates everyone with its view.
Note: Since it is a windy area, I recommend you to dress accordingly.
Best time : Fall season
What to eat: There are many Korean restaurants under the bridge.

Hanji art is so beautiful! If you visit Korea, visit a hanji museum to discover the beauty of them. You can learn so much about the history of paper at these museums. You can even try making your own if you’re there during a workshop 🙂

Beondegi is a popular street food and for hikers in Korea, so there are vendors that sell them near hiking trails. This is a really cute cafe located in Jungang Market in Wonju, Gangwondo. The upper floor of this market is filled with small shops that carry handmade crafts and aesthetic cafes. The cost of the item and foods are slightly expensive, but considering the high quality and that these are small businesses, it is worth it! 👍

Museum SAN (Space, Art, Nature)
#koreatrip
Museum SAN is a masterpiece of art and architecture. The building itself blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains, offering breathtaking views as you explore the galleries. The Paper Gallery is particularly fascinating, and the outdoor meditation garden is incredibly peaceful. The exhibits are thought-provoking and cater to both art lovers and casual visitors. It’s a great place to spend a serene afternoon, and the design of the museum makes it worth visiting even without the art.
Trip to Seoul and Wonju, Korea 🇰🇷
It was a trip with friends to Seoul and Wonju, Korea.
When we visited Seoul in autumn, one of our first stops was the iconic Namsan Seoul Tower. The view of Seoul surrounded by vibrant fall foliage from the observatory was breathtaking 😍We explored the area around the tower and even took some great photos at the “Locks of Love” spot, it’s a must for couples! If you go just before sunset 🌅 you’ll get both the golden hour and the city lights in one visit.
📍105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Exploring Bukchon Hanok Village in autumn felt magical. The traditional Korean houses 🏘️ framed by golden gingko and maple🍁 trees made every corner photo-worthy 📸 I’d recommend walking early in the morning when the light is soft for stunning shots.
We also visited to Gyeongbokgung Palace, where the contrast between the palace’s architecture and the fiery autumn leaves was incredible. Make sure to rent a hanbok, it adds a cultural touch to your photos. Go for the ⛅️ 10:00 AM guard-changing ceremony for an added experience.

We also explored the Wonju Suspension Bridge, Korea’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. Walking across while surrounded by fiery red and orange trees 🍁 below was exhilarating. Arrive early morning ⛅️ or late afternoon for the best light.

Golden wonder: Wonju Ginkgo tree
The nearly 1,000-year-old ginkgo tree in Wonju, Gangwon Province, transforms into a stunning golden sphere each autumn. Known as a "living fossil," this ancient tree stands out against the red maple forest, creating an unforgettable autumn landscape.
Legend has it that the tree sprouted from a monk’s staff, and locals believe a white snake lives within, so visitors are advised not to touch it. Located about 130 km east of Seoul, it’s easily reachable by both private and public transport.

Gangwon Province, South Korea - Jumunjin Suspension Bridge
Closed on Sundays, take the kids for a hike It's an hour's drive from Seoul, arriving at the Jumunjin parking lot in Wonju It takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach the unmanned ticket booth, head towards the entrance to the mountain There is a manned ticket booth. After checking the ticket, you have to walk 576 steps to reach the first suspension bridge, which is the blue bridge. After crossing the blue bridge, there is a garden courtyard, you can take the stairs (this is fast), or you can walk around the courtyard (this is slow). Arriving at the second ticket checkpoint, you can go straight in, and after walking another set of stairs, there is a boardwalk; it's all made of metal sheets, and at the end, you can see the yellow suspension bridge and the observation deck. After going down from the observation deck, you can pass through the yellow suspension bridge, which is longer than the first one and shakes a lot, especially when the wind blows. There is also a glass walkway. Finally, follow the signs to descend the mountain, the whole journey takes about 2.5-3 hours to budget. Not suitable for children under 3 years old, otherwise, the parents will be very tired. Those who like hiking can come and visit, it has more scenic value than the suspension bridge at Majang Lake in Paju (called). If you don't want to hike and just want to walk the suspension bridge, wait for the cable car to be repaired, and the elevator to go down the mountain to be repaired before going.
Adult ticket: 9000 Korean Won.
Parking P|: Free There are canteens, convenience stores, coffee shops, hotels, and campsites at the foot of the mountain.
The Ginkgo tree in South Korea Gangwon Province
#koreatripA Ginkgo tree in South Korea Gangwon province. The falling leaves during Fall time provide a ‚golden carpet'. The is a National monument and between 800-1000 years old.
There are restrooms and a parking lot. It's a good place to stop by if you're passing by. If you are visiting during the fall foliage season, it is recommended to park in the parking lot at the village entrance and walk.
Thrilling Wonju Sogeumsan Suspension Bridge.
Just looking at it makes your legs shake
I visited the suspension bridge at Sogeumsan Grand Valley in Wonju!
The round-trip 3-hour course includes the suspension bridge, cliff trekking, and the swaying bridge. Grand Valley is a tourist spot where hiking and extreme experiences are appropriately mixed.
If you want a thrilling experience, head to Wonju!
Stylish country house 🏠 Wonju emotional accommodation moolpool
#Emotional Accommodation
🐧 A villa built by a designer host for relaxation
🐧 All fabric products including bedding are handmade
🐧 A large window to enjoy the scenery of the four seasons
🐧 A brick fireplace where you can enjoy a fire
🐧 A private valley and a lush forest
🐧 Even a cinema room!!!!
It's located not far from Seoul. It's a quiet place because it's located in the quiet mountains(?), and there are lush forests and valleys around the accommodation.
The large house is divided into spaces for two guests to use, but it can also be used as a private house! I used the 'Forest House' 🏠 It's divided into a bedroom and a living room, and the living room has a beam projector that fills the wall, and there's a large low table and sofa! I watched a movie at night, and the atmosphere was so good ㅎㅎ
And as expected from a forest house, there's a large window in the bedroom. The space reflected outside the window is so pretty, and there's a veranda between the windows? You can sit here and look out the window. There are also many blankets that look like they were knitted directly!
From the floor tiles to the bedding and furniture, it was a place where you could really feel the host's sincerity. I want to go there again this winter and do nothing and just rest and come back. 🥺
