All Moments About Wiang Haeng
One day trip เวียงแหง เชียงใหม่ ⛰️🌳🚗
🏔️ Wiang Haeng District, Chiang Mai Province: It is a small district that is almost 150 kilometers away from Chiang Mai city. It takes about 3-4 hours to travel because it is a mountain and has steep roads in some areas. Wiang Haeng is a land that is surrounded by high mountains and rich nature. The diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and simple local lifestyles are truly authentic. The charm of this place is its tranquility and the fact that it still has abundant forests and nature. We can see Doi Luang Chiang Dao, which is another beautiful place. On this trip, we traveled during the winter, so we saw fog and blooming cherry blossoms on both sides of the road. We stopped for a cup of coffee at Ban Lao Wu, called akipu, which is a place that grows and roasts its own beans. I guarantee that the taste is not inferior to anywhere else. ☕️

Akipu view point
Akipu is one of the newest view point founded in Chiangmai. It was almost 3 hours drive from Chiangmai city center, but worth every minute. It was privately owned view point so we stayed a night at Akipu Homestay first. Then the next morning the owner drove us to the view point. I have never seen such beautiful sunrise like this before. The sun was rising in the back to Doi Luang Chiangdao making it so unreal. While watching the sunrise, the owner drip us coffees, great coffee by the way.

⛺️ Homestay filled with love and warmth "Akipu Homestay"
❤️ I am someone who really likes to sleep in homestays. Even though it is not as comfortable as a luxury hotel, homestays often come with lovely people who always make us fall in love.
🌤 Unseen here, I would like to give it to the Akipu viewpoint, which has a Slow bar for us to sip coffee while waiting to watch the sunrise. We will see the entire Doi Luang Chiang Dao mountain in full view. It is very romantic. During February, there is a chance to see the Milky Way. It is perfect for bringing your loved one to create the best moments.
💰 Here, the price is 1,200 baht per person. There are separate male and female accommodations, including 2 Lisu meals (dinner - breakfast). The activities in the accommodation will change according to the season, but the main thing is to visit the garden and watch the sunrise and sunset. and see the sea of fog

Wat Phra Borommathat Saen Hai
Phra Borommathat Saen Hai, Chiang Mai Province
According to legend, during the time of the Buddha, the Buddha traveled with Phra Anan. When they arrived, the local Karen people brought watermelons to offer to the Buddha. While eating the watermelon, his teeth cracked open, so he gave them to Phra Anan to give to the Karen who brought the watermelon to build a stupa and enshrine it on the mountain. It has been passed down from generation to generation that under the mountain where the Phra Borommathat is enshrined is a cave. Inside the cave are various valuable treasures, estimated to be worth a hundred thousand hai, so it is called "Phra Borommathat Saen Hai".
Phra Borommathat Saen Hai is in the Tai Yai style with an octagonal base.
