The Yanagawa store we planned to visit would not open until 12 o'clock, but when we arrived at almost 11 o'clock, there was already a group of tourists taking pictures here. Although it wasn't open yet, the outside door was open. Only the bakery and the checkout counter weren't open yet, but you could see the staff preparing things. We just took pictures in the yard. There was a sample imitating a pineapple bread at the scene. It was very large and a bit heavy. Children could not hold it when taking photos and the proportions were not right. But it was still very interesting. It was more suitable for adults to hold it. Although the store is not big, the simple layout of the entrance and the yard is just right. A few bald cypress trees also add some atmosphere to the yard so that it does not feel empty. The reason why Yanagawa Ya attracts tourists' attention is the pineapple bread installation and the store name Yanagawa Ya on the store door as well as the store name written on yellow tape at the door. #MarchGoodPlaces2025 Taichung City Hall is a European-style Baroque building that was built in 1911 and was registered as a historical building by the Taichung City Government in July 2002. Currently, the city hall is outsourced to the Classic Rose Garden Cultural and Creative Team. The first floor is planned as "Café 1911 Showa Salon" and the second floor It is an art and cultural exhibition center, where art and cultural exhibitions are held from time to time. The third floor is a dome loft. We originally planned to come here to eat and visit the art exhibitions on the second and third floors, but we arrived too early and had to wait until 11:30 am for the store to open. So we took photos outside the city hall, but we finished in less than half an hour, so we had to leave and go to the next attraction. We can only visit it next time we come to Taichung.
