I really love this place. It's been on my wish list for a long time, but I haven't had the chance to visit because I thought we needed to reserve for a crowded camping experience. Turns out we can just come here for a picnic or coffee without camping. The ambiance is really delightful. Surrounded by large pine trees and aesthetically pleasing houses, plus the never-disappointing weather of Lembang, makes this place a must-visit. By the way, as their logo suggests, here we can interact with alpacas. Honestly, this is the first time I've been able to touch these animals 😅. Beside they have a lot of restaurant to try and other activities. There is also a free shutter bus between two parking lot, which is quite far from each other, one is at the top of the hill and the other is at the bottom. Cool air, beautiful pine forest & lots of great photo spots. The location is in Cikole, Lembang, 1 hour from Bandung. The area is very spacious and despite the pandemic everything is well maintained. The collection of orchids is also complete. Management is very concerned about the comfort of visitors. For those of you who are tired of walking around this largest orchid garden, you don't have to worry about returning to the starting point, because the manager provides a free pick-up car. The dining and drinking area is also filled with many delicious tenants. Public facilities such as prayer rooms and toilets are also well maintained, hand washing sinks are scattered in all areas. We just found out that there is a place called Orchid Forest Cikole when we decided to browse around Lembang. So when we drove up from Cikole gate, we asked the officers in charge what attractions are available up there. He told us about Orchid Forest and that it's a beautiful picnic spot with so many Instagramable spots. Without further due, we paid the tickets and off we went up. It is truly a beautiful and peaceful place. It took us around 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Bandung to Cikole. Through Jalan Raya Tangkuban Perahu or the the main road to Lembang, the trip might be a bit tricky due to traffic. But beautiful surroundings, fantastic view, cool fresh air, and wonderful orchid forest is waiting so it worths the trip. Orchid Forest Cikole is located at Cikole, Lembang, Bandung, West Java. This place is open at 9 AM to 6 PM. As we came here during the weekend, it was quite packed. Many groups were coming to this place as well at that time. Orchid Forest Cikole Lembang is a lovely park in the middle of pine forest. This park is beautifully decorated with lots of various orchids as well as other flowers. As soon as we enter the gate, we will see many orchids in the pots surrounding the lobby. The orchids also planted in the tree trunks. Why orchid? Because orchids are beautiful flowers from tropical rain forest. As a tropical country that lies right on equator, Indonesia has plenty varieties of orchids. Most orchids are epiphytes, i.e. they grow anchored to trees in the forest. Nice restaurant full of trees and cute garden. Most of the menu is international with some Indonesian fusion menu. They also have wide range of desserts to choose from. The taste was ok but nothing stands out. I gave a four from the service and overall. The special menu was nice; grilled chicken on rice and meat on rice. While the prices feel a little more than usual restaurants. I think when you consider the ambience and the taste of the food. Coming from Menado Father and Malang Mother - the daughter - Audrey - was the Top 6 of Indonesia Junior Master Chef. She has ventured in this journey since she was 16. What recommended here are: 1.
