It is a mountainous area in Central Asia and one of the few Tianshan pastures with good natural conditions in southern Xinjiang. ⏳Play time: It is free and open, and the play time is 2 hours to half a day.

🌟 The Tianshan Tumur Grand Canyon is located in the Bozidun Kerkiz Township of Wensu County in the Aksu region of Xinjiang, on the southern foothills of the central Tianshan Mountains. The canyon is about 80 kilometers northeast of Wensu County and about 26 kilometers from National Highway 314, covering a total area of 200 square kilometers. This place was once an essential passageway on the ancient postal road between the southern and northern Tianshan Mountains, known as the Muzart Trail. Locals call it 'Kudu Luk Grand Canyon,' which means 'dangerous and mysterious' in Uyghur. 👍 The canyon stretches about 25 kilometers from east to west and about 20 kilometers from north to south. It consists of 3 main valleys in a '川' shape, 12 tributaries, and hundreds of smaller gullies. It is the largest and most aesthetically valuable red-bed canyon between the southern and northern Tianshan Mountains, known as the 'King of Canyons.' ❤ This place was once a necessary path on the ancient postal road between the southern and northern Tianshan Mountains, the Muzart Trail. Legend has it that Xuanzang passed through here on his journey to the Western Regions for Buddhist scriptures. It's hard to imagine the lonely figure of the monk Xuanzang, who, despite his solitude, carried endless wisdom and courage, traversing this barren canyon on a frail old horse, overcoming numerous difficulties to fulfill his mission. ✅ The canyon's sightseeing and adventure area spans about 50km, featuring five types of landforms: Danxia, Yardang, Sub-Yardang, rock salt karst, and a unique salt mound bottom split structure, earning it the nickname 'a living geological history textbook.' There are countless peculiarly shaped rock peaks here, and as you walk through the quiet canyons, you can let your imagination run wild. Moreover, with very few tourists, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery all to yourself!

Wensu County's Wensu Grand Canyon 📸👍 is known as the 'living geological evolution history museum.' I can't distinguish between the rock salt karst landforms, the yardang landforms, or the Danxia geology; I just feel like I've entered a ten-mile gallery upon arriving at the scenic area 📸💯👍. The canyon's sheer cliffs rise steeply 📸🥰, with odd peaks jutting out and the rock wall's folds clearly ferocious. The bizarre rocks are variously shaped: some like camel humps, pagodas, pillars holding up the sky, others like ancient murals, Taoist priests draped in capes, or the mysterious turtles witnessing the changes... In short, this place will spark your imagination 🌹💕. As you climb up the trail to the top of the peak and look down, you immediately feel the canyon's depth 📸👍💯, with people and cars instantly shrinking to the size of matchboxes. The intensely colored Wensu Grand Canyon 📸👍🪻💮, I understood what a tourist said inadvertently: this is Van Gogh's lost palette 🎨.

With great courage, I drove into the Wen Su Grand Canyon and was delighted to find that, compared to the rough roads in Western Sichuan, the roads in the scenic area were very easy to drive on! I successfully found the Salt Waterfall, which was stunning! The magical South Xinjiang is full of surprises everywhere. The scenic shuttle bus does not go to the Salt Waterfall; you can only get there by self-driving. On the road out of the scenic area, there is a 'Salt Valley' sign on the right side (see picture 9), which is easy to find. The scenic shuttle bus stops at Canyons No. 1 to 6. Self-driving friends can also take the shuttle bus in sections and try walking on the canyon summit plank road to enjoy the view from above.
