🇺🇸 Tidal Basin, Cherry Blossom Spot in Washington DC, USA

🇺🇸 Washington DC, USA
🌸 Tidal Basin
The capital of the United States, Washington DC, starts turning pink starting in March. In late March - early April, the entire Washington DC becomes beautiful with light pink cherry blossoms! Among them, the best place to see cherry blossoms in Washington DC is Tidal Basin.
The cherry blossom trees that surround the entire Tidal Basin began 100 years ago when Japan gifted cherry blossom trees to Washington to commemorate friendship with the United States!
The cherry blossoms bloom a little differently every year, but in 2025, the Washington Cherry Blossom Festival started on March 22. I visited on March 22, but unfortunately, there were only cherry blossom buds and they were not fully in full bloom yet. So, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom outside of the Tidal Basin, so I was able to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Washington DC.
I felt the scent of spring while walking along the Tidal Basin, and just walking made me feel really good. If you are traveling to Washington DC during the cherry blossom season in March, be sure to visit the Tidal Basin 💗

🇺🇸 Rollins Park, a famous magnolia park in Washington DC, USA 💓

🌸 Rawlins Park
From early to mid-March, Washington DC, the capital of the United States, turns pink. This is because pink magnolias fill the downtown area of Washington DC from early March. I would like to highly recommend Rawlins Park, which I visited while traveling to Washington DC in mid-March, as a Washington magnolia spot.
Rawlins Park is located in downtown Washington, so it is easy to access. Although it is a small park, there are huge magnolia trees lined up in a row, and you will be amazed as soon as you enter the park. The park entrance fee is a whopping 10,000, so it is a great way to enjoy Washington DC in spring without feeling burdened.
There are many benches in Rawlins Park where you can sit and rest while appreciating the magnolia flowers, so it is also a great place to sit and rest while walking. I also really enjoyed sitting and appreciating the magnolia trees while feeling the warm spring breeze.
If you're traveling to Washington DC in March, be sure to take in the pink scent at Rollins Park 💓

🌸 Enid A. Haupt Garden
I'm introducing Enid A. Haupt Garden, a famous magnolia spot in Washington DC that I visited during my trip to Washington DC in late March 💓
March in Washington DC is full of pink fragrance. Washington, DC is famous for cherry blossoms in late March, but it is also famous for magnolia flowers (Mongolia) that bloom in early to mid-March. There are many famous magnolia spots in downtown Washington DC, and the one I would most like to recommend to you, having been to almost all of them, is Enid A. Haupt Garden.
The magnolia trees that fill the garden are amazing. The weather was nice on the day I visited, so just walking around the garden surrounded by magnolia trees made me really happy. Plus, the garden admission is free, so you can enjoy spring in Washington without any burden!
If you are traveling to Washington DC in mid-March, be sure to see the magnolias at Enid Haupt Garden 💓

Washington DC Memorials
#gooutside and explore the memorials in Washington DC
Every so often is good to remind ourselves of the wars and battles our fore-fathers have fought, to remind us of the privilege it is to live in a free world society. Although not all wars and rebellion causes are as poetic, many have also some dark sides to it.
Going through the memorials in D.C., reminds us all of the courage and determination one nation can have in pursuit of its goals. This determination, unfortunately, is seen in the many names seen on the remembrance planks that tell a story of how blood thirsty the Gods of war are.
One thing worth noting is that some of the memorials, dedicated to former presidents, can be an impressive visual sight for anyone. The demeanour of these statues imposes respect and makes us all take a moment and admire these statues.

If you visit Washington DC, you will also visit this place. It is a national cemetery that the Korean president also visited. It is a place with a mix of uphill and flat terrain, so it can be difficult on hot days. This is a place where Korean War veterans are buried, and it is also a meaningful tourist destination because it is also home to the grave of President John Kennedy.

A special time of tranquility and beauty
#December Travel Support Event The scenery I saw while walking around Washington DC was really great. While walking along the National Mall, the wide space facing the Lincoln Memorial* and the Washington Monument was quiet and magnificent. The squares and streets where the Capitol and Smithsonian Museums are located also gave a feeling of history and culture as I walked. In particular, the parks and gardens were beautifully decorated in spring and fall, making it a special time to feel nature in the city. I was able to deeply feel the charm of Washington DC by slowly enjoying each attraction while walking.

Washington DC Travel, a precious time filled with history and culture
#December Travel Grant Event The trip to Washington DC was a truly special experience. There were many historical sites throughout the city, so I was able to learn deeply about American history and politics. **The Capitol**, **The Lincoln Memorial**, and **The Korean War Veterans Memorial** were magnificent and meaningful places in themselves, each reminding me of different historical moments. In particular, at **The Smithsonian Museum**, I was able to see American culture, science, and nature at a glance through various exhibits. Also, while walking along **The National Mall**, I was able to enjoy a peaceful and quiet atmosphere along with beautiful scenery. Washington DC was more than just a travel destination, it was a place where I could deeply feel American history and spirit.

DC during Trump victory
Stayed in DC from Nov 4 to Nov 13 and woke up to Trump’s controversial victory or Harris. #historicallandmarks . There was an atmosphere of great excitement until Trump’s victory was final. The locals all expected it and what surprised me was the relaxed ambience during such a time. The buildings along Pennsylvania Avenue are mostly made from red brick 🧱 and are quaint looking in a good way 😀. I bought some Harris campaign caps as they are selling them of cheaply now. Being here during such a political landmark time is unforgettable. Washington DC perhaps i will see you again in four years time when you it is time to elect again. Till then - So long.

If you're traveling to the US, how about Washington?🇺🇸❓
I booked a flight to Washington with regret while traveling to New York
It wasn't a place I had high expectations for
But it was a place that brought me even greater happiness☺️
It's not too far from New York
You can get there by various means of transportation such as airplanes or buses
It's not expensive
A place you must visit!
1️⃣National Gallary of Art

It's reall
It's really clean and quiet, so I like it! The highest floor is the 6th floor, and I got a 6th floor key.
The front desk manager is also kind. Mineral water is also free.
It's amazing that I can stay at such a cheap price even though breakfast is included. The breakfast was much better than the price. It wasn't too salty and was good.
You might think that the downside is that it's far from tourist attractions, but I'm satisfied! There's a game center, movie theater, pub, restaurant, etc. within a 10-minute walk, so it was nice to go out and play at night! I totally recommend it 🙂

Take a cruise around the capital of the US ⛴️
⛴️ Sightseeing Cruise at Washington DC⛴️
Washington DC also has an important river in the city, so we took a cruise around the city for about 45 minutes. We saw the view around the city and saw many airplanes because it was close to the airport.
But we think the cruise here is just so-so, not that wow. But it is a new experience for those who want to try.
