#springitinerary I’ve been hearing about the Jurassic Coast for a while, and I finally had the chance to visit! Given that the sights are spread out, we decided on a route that minimized walking while maximizing scenic views. Our itinerary included Southampton, the Weymouth seaside town, Durdle Door, and back to Southampton. Here's a quick guide to what we did! Weymouth Guide Getting There: You can reach Weymouth from Southampton via train. We caught a train from Southampton Airport Parkway station, and a one-way ticket was around £5. Exploring Weymouth: Upon arrival, we navigated to Sandsfoot Castle via a 20-minute walk from the station. Along the way, we passed Weymouth Harbour, but didn’t stop as the views here weren’t the best yet. Continuing our walk, we reached Sandsfoot Castle and its park. The area was full of locals relaxing in the sun, with a vibe that almost felt like being on a holiday in Hainan! 🌞 #naturalwonders

Durdle Door is a spectacular natural limestone arch on England’s Jurassic Coast, acclaimed for its dramatic form against turquoise seas and rugged cliffs. It was definitely worth going here and would say the sound of crashing waves as “therapeutic,” and praise the striking scenery as one of the UK’s most photogenic spots . Access involves a well-signposted but steep path from the Lulworth Estate car park, with basic seasonal amenitiies (toilets and a café) preserving the site’s unspoilt charm. Scenic beauty at Durdle Door.

Stay in Bournemouth to go to the beach, then visit those two magnificent sites, which are only 40 minutes away. The parking cost was £12.40 for up to 4 hours. It was a great walk and took about 2 hours with lots of stops to take photos etc. I would highly recommend to visit these places.
