When you go to Old Town and walk down the streets you will see a lot of shops. On the square there was a market where you can buy a lot of handmade goodies. Luckily, a kind couple offered to help and took a few photos of us at this romantic, scenic spot. It was the perfect moment to capture memories of our time in Verona.

The arena might not be as famous as the Colosseo but it is actually a really stunning piece of architecture! In fact is was build even before the colosseo and it also has been place for traditional games and shows in ancient times. For sure it is worth a tour when visiting the beautiful city of Verona. the ticket is 10 euro and it is free on the first Sunday of every month. tip: if you can choose the date of your visit, make sure you don't go when there are shows scheduled for the night (arena is also a theathre now) because they will cover the whole court with stage and seats and you will stay pay full ticket price. #history #urbanexplorer #tripblazers

Best spot to see Verona from the top

If you are visiting Verona you cannot miss this stop! And I highly reccommend you get there by sunset 🌅 Seriously, even though it is gonna be a bit crowded it is the best moment to catch on camera. After a walk uphill (about 10mins) you will get to the top and from there you will be able to see the whole town from above, so magical! ✨ Many people gather there to listen to music at sunset or to take nice and romantic shots, you won't be disappointed. #sunset #tripblazers #urbanexplorer

A romantic corner of Verona

I have visited Verona several times but how could I not know about this spot before! I was enchanted by the medieval atmosphere in this place. The bridge, together with the castle it is very nice to see. We had a romantic walk around it and even got to step on the higher columns from where we could admire the view of the river. ROMEO AND JULIET CITY

The cover photo is the famous Juliet's Balcony from Juliet's House based on the famous Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet'. I consider it to be another Italian's romantic city as it in the home to this love story. We stayed in the old town area which have all the lovely scenic spots. The hotel is the city center and is less than five minutes away from Juliet's house. Is it walkable everywhere in the beautiful old town. We had the drink in Piazza Bra right next to Verona Arena. Very good spot to relax, enjoy drinks, and people. Everywhere we walked we stumbled across picturesque plaza or a stunning historical building or landmark. #verona #romeo #juliet #lovecity

“City of Romance “, I did not go there because of the love story we know! however, it ends up that we love this little city! so much to see, so many places you can visit and enjoy the tranquility of the city! watching the sunset and have a bird eye of the city, it is awe and brings joy! we love the pinky colosseum , which makes different from the one in Rome! for sure you would love this little city!

Lake Misurina (Italian: Lago di Misurina; Cadorino dialect: Lago de Meśorìna) is the largest natural lake of the Cadore and it is 1,754 m above sea level, near Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno). The lake's perimeter is 2.6 km long, while the maximum depth is 5 m. Near the lake there are about ten hotels with accommodation for around 500 people. The particular climatic characteristics of the area around the lake make particularly good air for those who have respiratory diseases. Near the lake is the only center in Italy for the care of childhood asthma. The lake was the theme of a famous song by Claudio Baglioni. Lake Misurina is also the theme of the theatrical representation of the Longane di Lozzo. Lake Misurina is where the speed skating events were held during the 1956 Winter Olympics of Cortina d'Ampezzo – the last time Olympic speed skating events were held on natural ice. Verona's Gentlemen's Square is also known as the Lord's Square (Fig. 4, 5, 6). From the former residence of Juliet, turn right and walk 200 meters to see the vanilla square (Fig. 1, 2, 3, 9), through The "Whale Rib Arch" next to the lively Herb Square is the gentleman's square adjacent to it, and the two squares are neighbors. It was a municipal center in the Middle Ages and was built throughout the city hall and court buildings. The central part of Gentleman's Square is erected with a statue of Dante, which was built in 1865 to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the birth of the last poet of the Middle Ages. It is said that Dante was exiled by his hometown of Florence, and he was transferred to Verona to play for the feudal lord Camendra de la Scala. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to the Little Colosseum and Juliet's former residence (different directions), and you can walk around casually. Basically, the shops are closed at 7:30 p.m., but the window display lights are on, and the bar ice cream shop is still open. The interior of the hotel is very impressive, and the key is very heavy! The service is good. There is a waiter to help you carry your luggage when you enter the door. Just remember to tip it. Some hotels charge a fee for printing things, but this one is free to print online.

It was a trip to Verona, Italy. Just to share some of the places that I have visited. I started my day at Piazza delle Erbe, Verona's most vibrant square. It was once a Roman forum, and now it's a lively marketplace filled with beautiful frescoed buildings and landmarks like the Lamberti Tower. I climbed the Lamberti Tower for a panoramic view of the city — well worth the €8 entrance fee 💰 📍Piazza delle Erbe, 37121 Verona A short walk from the square, I visited Juliet's House with its famous balcony. Even with the crowds, the romantic ambiance was worth experiencing. I would recommend you to arrive early in the morning to avoid the rush. 📍Via Cappello, 23, 37121 Verona 💰 €6. I also visited the Castelvecchio Museum, located in a 14th-century castle. It featured a fascinating mix of medieval and Renaissance art, and the views from the nearby bridge were stunning 🤩 📍Corso Castelvecchio, 2, 37121 Verona 💰 €8. If you’re looking for a good spot for lunch, I would recommend you to try Osteria al Duca, a cozy spot with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I spent the afternoon wandering through the Giardino Giusti, a beautiful Renaissance garden. I would also recommend you to take train 🚂 to Peschiera del Garda. I took an early morning train to Peschiera del Garda, a charming lakeside town just a 20-minute ride away. A boat ride on the lake was the perfect way to soak in the surroundings. For lunch, I dined at La Plume, a lovely lakeside restaurant offering fresh seafood and Italian classics. 2024 is the 101st year of Verona opera festival. The performance is held in Arena di Verona, the traditional and Roman style amphitheater. I went to see the Aida and the theatre is filled with people. The performance has 4 parts and last over 3 hours. After the show, it is already midnight. The experience is very nice and if you cannot understand italian, the subtitles can be found on the screen. Please come and see the brilliant performance and it will never let you down. #performances
