Daru & Co. Cafe & Ranch is located 10 minutes away from Valencia City Proper in Bukidnon. Just a straight ride from Jollibee to Guinoyoran Rd. A very simple yet cozy place with an overview of little valencia city. Best thing there is that they have BINAKI or PINUTOS. This is a type of steamed sweet corn which is wrapped in corn husks. This delicacy is commonly available in Bukidnon and Bogo, Cebu. It is usually seen in the streets. It s a very common pasalubong from both place. Other food and Drinks are available too. Climbing Mt. Kitanglad (2,899m), the 4th highest mountain in the Philippines, was one of the most challenging yet rewarding solo adventures I’ve taken. As a solo joiner, I didn’t know what to expect—Would I get along with the group? Would I be able to keep up with the pace? But as the climb unfolded, I realized that hiking solo with a group of strangers can turn into an unforgettable journey of camaraderie, endurance, and self-discovery. The jump-off point was at Sitio Intavas, La Fortuna, Impasugong, Bukidnon. Before the climb, we attended a traditional Talaandig ritual led by the indigenous community. They consider Mt. Kitanglad sacred, so the “pamuhat” (ritual offering) was performed to ask permission from the spirits before we ascended. One of the most memorable parts was passing through the mossy forest—lush, misty, and almost magical. The cold air and towering trees made me feel like I had entered a different world. But the challenge wasn’t over. The final push to the summit involved vertical steel ladders attached to the mountainside, making my heart race. One wrong step and it would be a steep drop down—but I just focused, took deep breaths, and climbed carefully. Climbing Mt. Kitanglad as a solo joiner was an unforgettable experience. I came for the adventure, but I left with newfound friends and a deeper appreciation for Mindanao’s mountains. If you’re hesitant about hiking solo, don’t be—sometimes, the best journeys begin when you step out of your comfort zone.

It’s not my first time dining in RoadHouse Cafe but first in this branch! This RoadHouse Cafe is located at the Heart of Valencia City, Bukidnon! Very accessible place. It is inside the MM Hotel. The food is indeed a must try. A bit pricey but very delicious and got large servings! I love their Baby Back Ribs but this time since it is still afternoon, we just had Palabok, Ceasar Salad, Coffee and Cookies that melts in your mouth! This it matchless! One of the bests in Valencia! I went to Valencia and tried this newly opened COFFEE SHOP. The place is cute and small, but it is a perfect place for work... I saw this being shared by one of my friend who is residing here in Valencia and I can't help but visit. I am not a coffee hunter, but I love to go to a coffee shop where I think would be a perfect working place. I ordered Caramel Macchiato, for me, this is the standard for each coffeeshop. When a latte macchiato is perfectly done by a certain barista of a said coffeeshop, all of their blends follows perfectly too. As for me, 5/5 in the City!
