The BOH Sungei Palas Tea Garden is a wonderful place to be at - it's a tea farm, a cafe, a museum and also a sourvenir shop!
I'm sure almost everyone in Malaysia has at least a BOH teabag at home. This wonderful place is where the famous Malaysian brand tea is harvested!
Have your breakfast against the beautiful backdrop of tea fields! The cakes were scrumptious and the tea were of course delicious. When you're done, you can walk around the area and enjoy a tea factory tour!
Take note; the road up is quite steep and narrow, you may want to hire a tour guide to bring you up as it's not for the faint hearted! Once they bring you up, you'll have to do a little hike, so be sure to prepare yourself for that too!
Rating (out of 5):
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dine in a tea plantation
My friends and I took a road trip to Cameron Highlands and had the chance to dine in a tea plantation! We were atop on the mountainside and could enjoy sweeping views of the vast plantation greenery. The staff were also very nice to arrange the tables such that we could all sit together.
Of course, we had to try their tea here as well! Some of us had plain tea, some with honey and some with milk, many to choose from. They also have a shop where you can buy back nicely packaged boxes of tea to bring back home, sweet!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Enjoying the greenery and the tranquility at Boh Tea Plantation.
Had a wonderful time exploring Boh Tea Plantation with my family. We went for a tour at their factory and learned a lot about tea production. We also tasted some delicious tea at Boh Tea Plantation. Don't forget to grab some tea from the shop too!
It's a great place to visit during the school holidays, escape from the stressful city life!

Boh Tea Plantation
The most well known tea plantation in Cameron Highlands is the Boh Tea Plantation. We were immediately struck by how vast this plantation is, covering about 465 hectares. Our guide explained some of the history of the plantation, which is still owned by the original British founders, and how the workers harvest and transport the tea leaves. There are cafes where we had lunch and drank tea while taking in beautiful views. There is also a large shop selling regional teas.

Mossy Forest
Our adventurous side got the better of us on our last day in Cameron Highlands - we booked a tour that included hiking in the Mossy Forest. It had rained heavily in the morning, so it was very foggy, and we felt like we were walking through the clouds. Up in Mossy Forest, we saw pitcher plants, ferns, and plant life unique to that climate. Although there is a clear walkway and stairs, be very very careful because it can be slippery, especially after rain.

One of the best place to be in Cameron!
#myperfectstaycation By far the most beautiful tea farm in Cameron Highlands. The road to the farm is adventurous. Parking is free there and will need to climb up stairs to the viewpoint. There's a Cafe and souvenir shop at the viewpoint. I recommend their special Teh BOH Palas and also their BOH Strawberries cheesecake!

CORAL HILL
Coral hill at Cameron Highland is a Mossy forest with a stunning view and mysterious view. Coral hill with a hieght of 1650m actually is a mountain sometimes known as the upper and cloud forest. This trail is mostly flat and takes you through the jungle to a peak with a 360 degree view of the surrounding area.An easy 20 minutes hike one way but beware the ground is very slogging. #cameronhighland #newyearadventure

Stairway to Tea Heaven: BOH Viewpoint Delivers the Views
#springitinerary #pahang #naturalwonders
The road may twist like a tea leaf, but at the end of it lies one of Cameron Highlands’ most iconic panoramas—BOH Viewpoint. Nestled deep in the cool hills, this elevated terrace offers sweeping views of rolling tea plantations that seem to stretch endlessly into the misty horizon.
Getting here takes patience: a winding uphill drive with narrow turns, but rest assured—guards stationed along the way help ease the journey. Once you arrive, a short stair climb rewards you with a view that’s nothing short of majestic. It’s a place where every click of your camera captures a postcard.
The BOH shop sells specialty tea blends you won’t find in supermarkets—perfect for souvenirs or your own cozy brew back home. While the 3-in-1 options feel a bit pricey, tea lovers may still find the exclusivity worth a splurge.
The canteen? Well, it’s best seen as part of the view rather than the culinary experience. The food is average and a tad overpriced, but step onto the upper balcony and you’ll forget all about the menu. The sight of sun-dappled green slopes, neatly trimmed tea rows, and drifting clouds is the true main course.
Hidden Gem in Cameron Highlands 🌿 | Sky Farm, Bertam Valley
#springitinerary
Just discovered another peaceful, family-friendly spot perfect for a weekend getaway — Sky Farm in Bertam Valley! 🍃
This lesser-known farm is great for:
✅ Picking your own veggies
✅ Guided tours with the friendly owner
✅ Buying fresh produce straight from the source
✅ Chill vibes + scenic views = total therapy
It's kid-friendly, pet-welcoming, and the views? Absolutely healing. The whole farm is built along the hillside and spans roughly seven stories. You can take your time strolling through, soaking in the scenery, and listening to the tour as you go.
There's even a cozy café area where you can relax, enjoy some afternoon tea, and watch the clouds drift across the mountain peaks 🌥️🫖
✨ Important to know: Visits are by appointment only, and private vehicles are not allowed inside — the owner will arrange a shuttle for you.
With its cool, crisp weather, Cameron Highlands is the perfect place to escape the city heat. And if, like me, you prefer quiet nature walks over crowded tourist spots, Sky Farm is a must-visit. #CameronHighlands
Why I couldn’t reach Mossy Forest until I came here — Gunung Siku, Pahang 🌿⛰️
#springitinerary
This mountain is located near the Cameron Highlands’ Mossy Forest and the G7 series peak, Gunung Yong Belar — all within about an hour’s drive from Cameron Highlands (except on busy weekends).
Gunung Siku stands at a high altitude — its base is already over 1400 meters above sea level. The air is thinner, and the climate cooler.
If you’re lucky, you might spot Malaysia’s unique volcano snail 🐌 and countless pitcher plants (Nepenthes) along the trail, which kept the mosquitoes away during the hike.
Some of the stunning views you find in Mossy Forest can also be seen here, plus a hidden route at the summit that’s more challenging but offers even more breathtaking scenery.
The environment is wet with soft, muddy soil, so trekking poles often sink uselessly into the mud. It’s wise to bring a raincoat, good anti-slip gloves, and sturdy hiking shoes.
Difficulty level is moderate — somewhere between easy and medium, depending on the person. The total ascent is over 500 meters, and the round trip distance is about 5 km+. A mountain guide and permit are required.
Wishing everyone a successful summit! 🙌

📍Address: Mossy Forest, Gunung Brinchang, Brinchang, 39000 Brinchang, Pahang, Malaysia
Mossy Forest is a quiet and mysterious rainforest in the tropical rainforest area. The weather here is cool all year round. It looks like fog. This forest is about 1500 meters above the sea. It will be open after the rainy season. We went in June. It was just opened until October.
We had to buy a half-day tour. We could not drive in by ourselves. It is a national park of Malaysia. The entrance is quite narrow and is a dirt road. We took a jeep of the park officer.
And then we went hiking. There will be a guide to lead the way. It is a park officer. Take a walk through the forest. He will introduce various species of plants. Inside is cool and humid all the time. Making the forest covered with moss and lichen, it looks strangely beautiful.
