Highlights: The Twickenham Stadium is the official home of England Rugby. Not really a rugby fan but I went for the stadium tour. And it is surprisingly intersting! There’s lots to see and after or before the tour, you can visit the museum upstairs where you get to do the Haka dance, experience the scrum machine and lineout jump with lights. There is also two separate bar areas on each side of the lounge. 😌😄 #london #visitlondon

The museum is quite lovely, and it offers all the amenities needed for a few hours' visit. The staff is fluent in English, and there are a bistro and coffee shop with great prices. The museum features spacious halls with fascinating exhibits.

Stunning riverside run from Twickenham to Richmond at dusk passing eel pie island, marble hill house and orleans house. All on a well lit, well signposted towpath to Richmond bridge with views up and down the river and Richmond Hill hotel looming in the distance. Well used towpath for pedestrians, bikes and dog walkers but much more picturesque and user friendly than taking the slightly more direct road route

I often visit here and sit watching the world go by.There is a redevelopment happening of several flats, new cafes and independent shops.It won't be completed for a while. Meanwhile, the Barmy Arms is the place to be - a great variety of food, my favourite being the halloumi burger - a great vegetarian option, reasonably priced.A lovely seating area directly opposite the river Thames. There are many shops just a couple of minutes walk away from the embankment. It is fascinating to watch mid afternoon when the Thames often rises above the embankment. #localfood #thamesriver #halloween

Twickenham by the Thames is peaceful, yet vibrant, very enjoyable...sitting under a sunshine umbrella watching the busy embankment...I could see canoes going by in the Thames,cyclists riding along the embankment, a family of ducks, etc....I was sitting in the beer garden that is at the front of the Barmy Arms - Halloumi burger, salad & chips for 14.95, which is pretty reasonable ss a contrast with other eating outlets in this area...I can recommend visiting here. #valueformoney #thamesriver #localfood

Away from central London, enjoyed a Gorgeous walk from twickenham to Richmond, along the river watching rowers glide by, through pretty streets with tiny cottages and period grand houses and of course plenty of lovely pubs for drink or two on the way. #thames #london #staycation

If you walk by the River Thames, you'll pass the pub The Barmy Arns then occasionally see the Thames overflow onto the riverside.. ..there are new properties planned - apartments to be building here very soon.....It is a calm, tranquil, peaceful ultimate place sitting by the Thames

Nice place, had an issue with renovation at the time of our stay but all staff were very friendly and very cooperative offered to move us to another room away from the sound

Entering the church, the spectacular vaults and exquisite stained glass windows make people feel a sacred atmosphere, as if time has frozen here. 🌟✨ Every detail in the church exudes the charm of art, especially the exquisite carvings and ancient altars, which made me stop and admire them. 🎨🙏I especially like to sit quietly in the quiet corner of the church, listening to the faint echo and feeling the inner peace. 🌿💖 St. Stephen's Church is not only a symbol of religious belief, but also an ideal place to explore the history and culture of London. Watching the Women’s Six Nations at Twickenham Stadium in 2024 was an experience I will never forget! The atmosphere was incredible! Both fans brought to the stadium a really nice atmosphere. And where better to watch a rugby game than the best of them! The view from the seats was fantastic, offering a clear sightline to the on-field action. The event was well-organized, with efficient entry and exit processes. The enthusiasm and sportsmanship on display made for a thrilling and inspiring match.
