The protagonist Tsutaya Juzaburo is the man who introduced Kitagawa Utamaro, who is said to have a deep connection to Tochigi City, to the world.
In commemoration of the broadcast, a museum was opened in the former Kanazawa Kimono Store in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture.
There are three exhibition corners: "Utamaro and Tochigi," "Tsutaya Juzaburo and Tochigi," and "The Changes in Tochigi Town."
In the "Utamaro and Tochigi" corner, you can see the kyoka hymns of Tochigi and related works, such as Tsuyotei Tokunari and Zenno Kihei IV, who had a deep connection with Utamaro. There are materials on display
In the "Tsutaya Juzaburo and Tochigi" corner, kyoka picture books and kyoka books are on display
In the "Changes in Tochigi Town" corner, you can trace the changes in the Kanazawa family, who ran a kimono shop and other businesses around 1785, and the surrounding townscape, mainly through photos and materials
