Khao Chang Phueak: An Easy Hike
Khao Chang Phueak, Kanchanaburi: A Destination of Conquest and Natural Beauty
If you're looking for a challenging hiking experience with stunning views, Khao Chang Phueak in Thong Pha Phum National Park, Kanchanaburi, is a must-visit! The hike to the summit requires both mental and physical strength, but the reward is a panoramic view that stretches as far as the eye can see, with a sea of mist in the morning and a breathtaking sunset.
The approximately 8-kilometer trail involves steep slopes and narrow paths known as the 'Knife Edge,' but every step is an unforgettable impression, with the beauty of nature and the sense of self-conquest.
For novice hikers, it's recommended to prepare well, including proper shoes, clothing, and water, as well as advance booking due to the limited number of visitors allowed each day. Khao Chang Phueak is a destination that proves the beauty of nature is worth every effort!

Khao San Nok Wua, Hiking in Kanchanaburi, Thong Pha Phum.
Location: Khao San Nok Wua, Hiking in Kanchanaburi
Atmosphere: Beautiful view, mountain peak view with sea of mist, beautiful scenery along the way, beautiful viewpoint. The trail alternates between ascending and descending, very tiring. The office sells snacks, water, and food. On top, there is an open tent area with no restrooms. You need to bring your own restroom equipment and take it back down the mountain. Strong winds at night, clear sky in the morning with a beautiful sea of mist, very beautiful view.
Coordinates: Cha Lae, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi 71180
Viewpoint and 3D tunnel
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
Today, I visited the Heaven Hill Viewpoint in Kanchanaburi, Thong Pha Phum. The golden light of the setting sun is beautiful. About 1 minute from the viewpoint, we will go to the 3D Tunnel or Dr. Phon Kleep Bua Tunnel. We have to rent a 4-wheel drive car to take us there. There is a tunnel inside with a rather rough road. When we get to the cave, it will be pitch black. We need to use a flashlight. Inside is a mine with beautiful rocks. It is closed during the rainy season. You have to call the staff first to ask. Inside the tunnel is quite humid and cold. It is a very good experience. Fun. #TravelPlan #TunnelTravel
GOOD FARM - Campground and Organic Farm
GOOD FARM is a new campsite that just opened at the end of 2020. This place is a Campground and Organic Farm with a homestead style, giving you the feeling of being on a farm as the name suggests. The campsite area includes zones by the pond and by the stream, allowing you to choose your preferred location. Additionally, there are activities such as swimming in the stream, fishing, and vegetable picking. It's a unique and highly recommended campsite to check-in. Before you go, a little tip: the bathrooms here are excellent!

Watch the sunset at Chang Suek Hill
Chang Suk Hill is located in Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province.
It is a strategic point on the Thai-Burmese border. It is the base of the Border Patrol Police. On Chang Suk Hill, there is a beautiful viewpoint where you can see E Tong Village. If the sky is clear, you will be able to see the sunset. But today we went, the fog was so thick that we could barely see anything. The weather was very good.
We do not recommend driving your own car. The road is steep and full of potholes. We recommend taking the E Tong Village tour vehicle for 50 baht per person round trip.

Jokkradin Waterfall, Thong Pha Phum National Park
Jokkradin Waterfall is not far from E-Tong Village, Pilok, located in Thong Pha Phum National Park, Kanchanaburi Province. The path to the waterfall is very steep, so it is recommended to hire a local driver rather than driving yourself.
There is an entrance fee of 40 baht per person.
Jokkradin Waterfall is derived from the Burmese word 'Gokkradan,' which roughly translates to 'waterfall flowing through rock crevices.' If you want to swim, you can come here. The water is clear and very cold.
Pilok Mine, a once prosperous mine
Pilok Mine is located in E-Tong Village, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. In the past, it was a famous quartz mine, which attracted many outsiders to work there.
However, the mines eventually began to close down. Only the remains of the tools remain in Pilok Mine. Inside the mine, there is a clear stream, a museum exhibiting tools and constructions used in the mine, and a koi pond with crystal clear water. Every angle you take a picture of is beautiful.

The E-Tong Village, Pilok, 399 Curves.
E-Tong Village is located in Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. The journey to get there is quite exhausting as you have to go through 399 curves. If you get car sick, make sure to take some medication. But once you arrive, all the fatigue will disappear. It's a perfect place for relaxation, strolling around, and breathing in the fresh air.
The accommodations in the village don't have air conditioning because the weather is cool and comfortable all year round. On humid days, the entire village is covered in fog. The village has plenty of food options and you can enjoy shopping around.
Live a slow life at • Itong Village, Pilok Mine
In this rainy season, Gluay.ping: Let's go see the fog at
Itong Village, Pilok Mine, Kanchanaburi Province🏡
.
Etong Village is located at the westernmost point of Thailand, the Thai-Burmese border. You have to drive up the mountain
through 399 curves. Let me tell you, I almost threw up, but I held it in. 🛣️
.
The road is good, there may be some small potholes, and during the time that Kluay went, they were repairing the road for over two kilometers, which may cause some traffic congestion. 🚦
.
But when I arrived at Etong Village, I must say that I was no longer tired. It is a small community with a slow life and fog covering the entire village. The air is cool and comfortable, and there is a little rain, making it cool and refreshing. ☔️
.
Kluay walked around the village and went to see Pilok Mine. Inside the mine, there is a small waterfall with a koi pond. Let me tell you, the water is very clear. 🐠
.
The next day, Kluay intended to go see the sun at Noen Chang Suk, but it rained very hard, so I couldn't go. So I went to play in the water at Jok Kradin Waterfall instead. When I went, it was the rainy season. I must say that there was a lot of water. The weather was cool and refreshing. For those who are going to go to Kluay, I recommend taking a car from the villagers. The fare is 100 baht per person, but I must say that it's worth it because the route is quite tough, both steep and rough. The driver is also an expert on the road. I must say that you can rest assured. ⛰️
.
During the rainy season like this, if anyone is looking for a place to travel, Kluay recommends this place: E-Tong Village, Pilok City, Kanchanaburi Province.

Hin Dat Hot Spring, Kanchanaburi Province.
Hin Dat Hot Spring is located on the Kanchanaburi - Sangkhlaburi route. The large sign caught our eye, so we decided to stop by because we love soaking in hot springs 🤩
It was probably late in the evening, so it was quiet with few people around. The hot spring pool didn't look very inviting, so we just soaked our feet, which was comfortably warm 😁
There is also a nature trail for those who have time to walk around. If you're short on time, you can take a shorter loop that leads to the suspension bridge and then back to the parking lot.

Hua Cha Tea House
#songkran2024
The tea cafe is a surprise wonder because it seems to be located in the middle nowhere. But it is worthwhile sipping a cup of tea and unwinding. A tea set and sweet sidedish are a perfect couple. The place is quite cosy and warm. The view of the river is totally mind-blowing.
All are in good vibes, worth the time to visit and spend here. very recomended.
