Mountain view, San Nok Wua, Kanchanaburi
#เที่ยวกาญจนบุรี
Location: Mountain view, San Nok Wua, Kanchanaburi
Atmosphere: The peak of San Nok Wua consists of small ridges and large ridges. There are two camping areas: the point before reaching small ridges, which is connected to the entrance and exit of the forest, and the point called Ang Kratha, which is located exactly between large ridges and small ridges. Both points offer different views. However, if you want to hike up both small ridges and large ridges without spending a lot of time, we recommend staying at Ang Kratha.
The bathroom is a zinc bathroom that requires a plastic bag to collect excrement and then throw it away at the garbage pit.
To climb San Nok Wua, you must make a reservation. The rules for booking and the time period for hiking vary each year. You can follow the Khao Laem National Park Facebook page.

#Rainy season attractions
📌 Pin a rainy season tourist destination 🌧️ with Vajiralongkorn Dam, located in Tha Khanun Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province. It was originally called Khao Laem Dam and was completed in 1984. It is the first rockfill dam with a concrete deck in Thailand. Its main purpose is to generate electricity. It has 3 generators with a production capacity of 100,000 kilowatts each, which can produce an average of 460 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year. In addition, Vajiralongkorn Dam helps reduce the amount of water in the rainy season a lot. In the dry season, it can also release water to help push out saltwater and wastewater from industrial factories on both sides of the Mae Klong River, improving the quality of the water in the Mae Klong River for more people. Vajiralongkorn Dam is therefore considered another multi-purpose dam in Thailand 💯
🚗 Tourists often like to go up to the dam crest to capture the beautiful view of the lake, especially during the rainy season when there is a thin layer of fog covering it, making it a very beautiful picture. And if you come in the evening It is also a very beautiful sunset viewing point. ⛅
🌿 In addition, within the area of Vajiralongkorn Dam, there are other interesting tourist attractions such as Khao Laem Skywalk, which is decorated with beautiful gardens all around. There are also accommodation services such as houses and floating rafts in the middle of the water. Anyone who is interested can contact the dam at 034-599-077 ‼️

Homemade pizza from Baan Nen Hin Dad Farm & Cafe
A hidden pizza shop in Thong Pha Phum forest. There are many different menus. Everything is delicious. Most importantly, each dish is served in a very large portion. For those who come to eat at this shop, I recommend that you order lightly because we ordered a lot. We didn't think that the portion would be this big. It was so filling. Most importantly, the price is very cute. P.S. The pizza here is very delicious. It's a menu that you must not miss. Don't forget to order it.

Review of Krua Jay Nee Restaurant in E-Tong Village, Pilok
Krua Jay Nee has brought its kitchen to E-Tong, Pilok.
Thai cuisine and seafood menu. Everyone might wonder how a mountain village like E-Tong can have seafood.
From our research, we found out that Krua Jay Nee brings seafood from Myanmar. Since E-Tong Village is near the Myanmar border, and Myanmar itself is by the sea, the seafood is fresh and, importantly, not expensive. We ordered four dishes: prawns with tamarind sauce (this one is great, big prawns), seafood salad, clear soup with egg, and seafood tom yum.
We went with four people, and it cost only 150-160 baht per person.
The restaurant is located in E-Tong Village, near the market and pond, very easy to find.
Hin Dat Hot Spring | Kanchanaburi
Hin Dat Hot Spring in Kanchanaburi was discovered by Japanese soldiers during World War II. They built a cement pool to soak in and relieve fatigue. Today, it is open as a tourist attraction where visitors can enjoy the hot spring.
The hot spring is divided into three pools, each with different temperatures:
Pool 1: This is the hottest and deepest pool, suitable for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the hot mineral water to relax and treat muscle-related ailments.
Pool 2: This pool is adjacent to the first one but is less hot and less deep. It has a cement edge for sitting and soaking your feet while enjoying the natural surroundings.
Pool 3: This is a small pool for children, with the lowest temperature and no depth, ideal for families and those who do not prefer very hot mineral water.

Watch the sunset at Chang Suek Hill
Chang Suk Hill is located in Pilok Subdistrict, Thong Pha Phum District, Kanchanaburi Province.
It is a strategic point on the Thai-Burmese border. It is the base of the Border Patrol Police. On Chang Suk Hill, there is a beautiful viewpoint where you can see E Tong Village. If the sky is clear, you will be able to see the sunset. But today we went, the fog was so thick that we could barely see anything. But the weather was very good, cool and comfortable.
Some people come in the morning to wait for the sunrise. It has a different atmosphere.
Caution: It is not recommended to drive yourself. The road is steep and full of potholes. It is recommended to come with the E Tong Village tour vehicle. It is 50 baht per person, round trip. It is safer.

Jok Kradin Waterfall - Kanchanaburi
A waterfall in the middle of a valley with great natural beauty. It is a waterfall flowing through a rocky crevice with only one level, about 30 meters high. The waterfall basin is indigo blue with water all year round. The water is clear and cool, very refreshing. There are also small fish. The path to the waterfall is a nature study path. It is not very far, about 300 meters. There is a bridge over a small stream. It is a flat path that is easy to walk and the atmosphere is shady.
Jok Kradin Waterfall is in Thong Pha Phum National Park. There is a tourist fee of 40 baht per person and 30 baht for cars. You can save it to continue to visit the park. At the tourist service area, there are bathrooms, showers, and a convenience store selling snacks and drinks.
To get to the waterfall, take the same route as going to E Tong Village, Mueang Pilok, but you will arrive 5 km before Ban E Tong. There will be an entrance sign on the right. There is another 2.8 km of paved road. The route is quite winding up the mountain through more than 300 curves, but once you get there, I assure you that it is beautiful and worth it.

Ban E Tong is a small village in the middle of the fog. There is no air conditioning here. The electricity is out for a while. But don't be afraid of the heat because E Tong village is cold all year round. There are snacks and many photo spots.
📌Neun Chang Suk You can take a car from the village or drive up by yourself.
📌Jok Kradin Waterfall The charm of a small but very beautiful waterfall. The entrance fee is 20 baht per person. The parking fee is 30 baht.
📌Similar to Pilok, it is in the village. There is a very clear pond. You can see polite fish everywhere.
📌End of the Thai-Burmese border. Go to the end of E Tong village.
📌Wooden bridge. The highlight of the village is the wooden sign. I recommend coming in the evening. There will be a corner to take pictures holding a lantern. It feels very warm.
💰Average price per person: If there are 5 people, it will cost a little over 2,000 per person. It's very worthwhile. 🗓️Travel planning: Before going, we made a travel plan. Which places to stop and visit first.

Located in Khao Laem National Park, Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province
Before walking up to San Nok Wua, we had to take a pickup truck of the officer up first. Groups of 7 people, starting at a height of over 900 meters. The peak of San Nok Wua is 1,767 meters high. The walking distance is 7 kilometers. The path along the way is not hot. There are shady trees. There are only some parts that are a little hot. We think it's easy to walk. Walk continuously. When you reach it, you reach it.
There are small and big ridges up there. You should go to both ridges in the morning and evening. We think the light is beautiful and the path is comfortable. You should visit them all. There is clean water up there that you can boil to cook. Walk down to get water for about 800 meters. We want to praise the officer a lot. He took good care of us. He fetched water, took pictures for us, and woke us up to watch the sunrise. We forgot to buy a urine bag, so he found one for us. He is really everything for tourists like us. Thank you very much.
As for the AIS phone signal, TURE has good signal in some parts. We have to walk to find the signal near the edge of the cliff where there is a rope barrier. We use both companies.
The bathroom has a partition for us to do our personal business. We put our business in a biodegradable bag and then throw it away at the public pond.
For the trip, I have a friend who went to Khao Chang Phueak and threw it away at the Pom Pi viewpoint. On the way back, we hitched a ride at San Nok Wua to Bangkok. I'd like to hitch a ride and help split the cost of gas. 😁

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
Today, I visited the Heaven Hill Viewpoint in Kanchanaburi, Thong Pha Phum. The golden light of the setting sun is beautiful. About 1 minute from the viewpoint, we will go to the 3D Tunnel or Dr. Phon Kleep Bua Tunnel. We have to rent a 4-wheel drive car to take us there. There is a tunnel inside with a rather rough road. When we get to the cave, it will be pitch black. We need to use a flashlight. Inside is a mine with beautiful rocks. It is closed during the rainy season. You have to call the staff first to ask. Inside the tunnel is quite humid and cold. It is a very good experience. Fun. #TravelPlan #TunnelTravel
