Greatly curated exhibition in Greek and English with a lot of artefacts representing each period. The building is air-conditioned which is a great place to go to during summer. There are staff in every room if you have questions to ask. You can buy souvenirs at museum shop and drink coffee in the coffee house. Overall, this museum is a must-see for every history enthusiast.

#wheretogo This is a must if you visit Thessaloniki. Basically you go on the boat, have a drink, enjoy the sunset and have fun with the great music. They will sail you around the port for 30-60mins. You get to see the entire city from the see and on good day you get to the the Olympus. You dont have to pay for the cruise ticket and just pay for a drink from the bar. The crew and everyone is so friendly, nice, patient and kind. The ambience was comfortable and love the fun vibes!

The skies and sea merge into one if you let your thoughts dissolve in calming freshness of the color. We arrived here from Treviso and rushed to see majestic whiteness of the tower that is being called The White. Yet the tower stripped it's skin to seem as Byzantine as endless churches from that epoch. We did not mind since blue replaced all extras in the vision of beholder. The town of blue for you to feel the mood intact. Clear pleasing liberating soft.

Local attraction - the monastery on the cliff - a world cultural heritage, worth a visit, the scenery is beautiful, and the ceiling paintings inside are also outstanding Hotel-holiday inn Thessaloniki (walkable to the meeting point in the city center square) Food and Restaurant-MP Resto (attraction restaurant at the foot of the mountain, very delicious) Shopping Guide - There are good souvenir shops in the monastery, but they have a strong religious element. I personally think that the only things ordinary tourists can buy are the collection of books introduced by the monastery.
