Delicious food on a lake in Thailand 🇹🇭
Would you like to have a leisurely meal in Nakhon Si Thammarat?
The deliciousness of Thai food
There were various dishes, from salads to stir-fried vegetables and soup with seaweed
The restaurant is not very beautiful, but all the dishes are easy to eat
My favorite is the salad with dried shrimp, which I had wrapped in leaves. It was a little sweet and delicious, so I highly recommend it
Please go there after seeing Lake Tare Noi and taking a drive

A big big lake in Thailand
🇹🇭 "ทะเลน้อย" (Thale Noi) in Nakhon Si Thammarat
It's a very large lake with many boats docked, so it feels like a big ocean
There are many bamboo craft shops around the lake, and they have everything from bags and accessory cases to mats! When I looked into the shop, I could see the staff making them!
I was very surprised because the same thing was sold in Bangkok, so it was about twice as expensive

Thale Noi, Phatthalung Province
In addition to Udon Thani with its red lotus fields, our southern province also has one province with red lotus flowers, which is Phatthalung. This place is called “Talay Noi”. If anyone is interested in going, I recommend going from mid-February to April because this is the period when there are lotuses. I recommend going in the morning to see the lotuses blooming in bright evening colors all over the water. You can also see the egrets with their wings spread out and the sea buffaloes that are very good swimmers. 😁

Thale Noi-Songkhla Lake Viewpoint
🦅 Thale Noi is a freshwater lake connected to Songkhla Lake. It is an important wetland area and is considered another famous tourist attraction in Phatthalung. There are activities such as taking a boat to see lotus flowers and watching buffaloes swim. It has been declared as the first wetland area in Thailand or “Ramsar Site”.
🌉Chaloem Phrakiat 80th Anniversary Bridge or Ekkachai Bridge, a bridge that crosses Thale Noi between the border of Phatthalung and Songkhla provinces. It is known as one of the longest bridges across water in Thailand, with a distance of 5.5 kilometers.
🏡The abandoned red-roofed twin houses in the lake next to the Chaloem Phrakiat Bridge were originally built as temporary accommodation while the bridge was under construction. When the bridge was completed, the province saw that it fit the atmosphere of the place, so it was not demolished. Anyone passing by the Chaloem Phrakiat Bridge often stops to take pictures, which has become a symbol of this bridge.

Thale Noi Nature and Wildlife Study Center, Phatthalung Province.
It's a very spacious tourist attraction. You should spend about 2 hours here to fully explore. There are boat tours available. If you have children, you can bring them along, but be a bit cautious.
The environment is great, with ample parking and clean, free restrooms. There are plenty of souvenir shops.
Due to limited time, I didn't get to go up the tower for the view, but I would definitely come back if I have the chance.
