Takachiho Gorge is located on the border of Miyazaki, Oita, and Kumamoto prefectures. It is a beautiful 1.7km long emerald green valley. Manai Falls is said to be the main attraction. You can get close by boat, but the view from the promenade is also spectacular. Summer is a cool and pleasant place. On this day, I had Nagashi Somen lunch for the first time in a while. I had it with grilled salted yamame trout. After walking around for a while, I also had some Ramune!
