If you are looking for souvenirs to being back to your home country, something meaningful and hand crafted, I definitely recommend the wonderful Life found at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park located at 100, Taipei City, Zhongzheng District, Section 1, Bade Rd. This place has many wooden crafted designs like collaboration with Disneyland and many other cute characters where you can DIY your own wooden craft design with a musical box. There are many selection here to choose from and you can even spend the whole day here just designing your specially made music box together with your kids. This traditional art market was my favourite location during my entire Bali trip as it had so many beautifully crafted items from the locals themselves. You can get handcrafted Ukeleles, paintings, woven bags and other merchandise. Super bustling and lively atmosphere as well. Made for great souvenirs to buy back home too! It reminds me of those Japanese stationery stores that sell such well-crafted products as well. If you’re a stationery or paper lover like me, I’m sure you’ll want to visit this place for yourself. They sell all sorts of craft and writing materials, like notebooks, washi tapes, cute pens and such. It is a little pricier than most stationery shops but I guess it’s okay paying more for good quality stuff. If you happened to be in Tsuen Wan, with children. Do take time to visit the Happy Farm brought to you by BusymamaBenny 余以辰 at Citywalk. The handicrafts are incredible. It’s all made by recycled materials/ household refuse; perhaps giving you ideas on crafts you could do at home with all you have. My kids took some time to appreciate the artworks, having all sorts of ideas, thinking to create their own farm once we’ve collected enough materials.
