Historic City of Paris
We celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary in Paris.
As many will say “you will love Paris or you will hate it.”
But for me I really love Paris there is nothing to hate for because you visit a place not because of your expectations to limit or exceed it but as you travel you learn to love every places , every city that you have been to.
A world is really a big place but as we travel we will realized it’s really not that big because it always makes our heart full and our mind will burst in memories.

🇫🇷 Monet's Enchanted Haven
#paristrip
Giverny's House & Gardens, famously home to renowned Impressionist painter Claude Monet, is a breathtaking oasis of natural beauty and artistic inspiration.
Stepping into Monet's former residence transports visitors to the serene world depicted in his masterpieces. The meticulously maintained gardens, with their vibrant flowerbeds, serene ponds, and iconic Japanese bridge, evoke the same sense of tranquility and harmony that captivated Monet himself.
Exploring the house reveals glimpses of the artist's life and work, adding depth to the experience. Whether admiring the water lilies or strolling through the flower-lined pathways, Giverny's House & Gardens is a haven for art lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.

The sprawling estate offers a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of French kings, with its ornate furnishings and expansive gardens. Additionally, the nearby vineyards provide the perfect opportunity for wine enthusiasts to indulge in the region's renowned varietals, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Exploring Chambord Castle and savoring Loire Valley wines make for an unforgettable experience blending history, culture, and gastronomy.
🇫🇷Paris|Newly opened Paris hotel with brilliant food
Hanabi
⭐️ Overall rating: 5/5
🍽 Recommendation: Smoked mentaiko Tarama and seasonal vegetables
💁 Service: good
💰 €80 per person
📍17 Rue du 4 septembre, 75002 Paris, France
Hanabi is located in Hotel Hana in the center of Paris. The vibe is very nice with Japanese culture and decoration and the food is the good combination of French and Japanese culture.
Smoked mentaiko tarama and seasonal vegetables are my favourite dish with the brilliant sauce! Beef tartare is also tasty with fresh beef. Udon is interesting and the chips are impressive with special taste.
After lunch, it is better to have a cup of coffee and sweety cheese cake. Please book in advance to reserve a table and the place will never let you down.

Square Louise Michel
#paristrip Beautiful place! You can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city. However, it tends to get quite crowded, which can make it challenging to capture a perfect picture. Additionally, reaching this spot requires climbing several stairs. As I always say, when visiting Paris, it's essential to wear comfortable shoes.Beware of the people that try to put bracelets on you though! Pickpockets are very active there and the bracelet guys can get a bit aggressive. It is very beautiful and the little shops at the top of the hill are a bit more expensive but the setting is worth it.
Saint James Paris
#paristrip
This luxury hotel in Paris is simply exceptional! From the elegant rooms offering breathtaking views of the City of Lights, to the warm welcome of the staff, every detail exudes refinement. High-end amenities, like the spa and Michelin-starred restaurants, add to the stay experience. The attentive and personalized service made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this establishment to any travelers looking for a top-notch hotel experience in the French capital.overall awesome
Marley Beach
#paristrip
Stunning beach with huge dunes next to ancient carved sandstone cliffs contrasted against Caribbean blue water - just one of the many gorgeous beaches on this amazing trail. What an adventure! No IGS or Wooly’s out here though - so bring your water and foodstuffs as well as your sun protection to thoroughly enjoy your day!
Note this beach has a big shelf, so the waves are intense. Wouldn't recommend doing too much swimming.
La Beach Paris Restaurant & plage
#paristrip
Superb spot for this summer with your feet in the sand, you will find table football for children, there is even a swing for Instagrammers, obviously deckchair, music and winning cocktail combo at the gates of Paris.
We tested the restaurant, remember to reserve whether it is the restaurant or deckchair part.
Highly recommend trying their food here!
Church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont
#paristrip Church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is nestled next to the Panthéon, this church offers a captivating ambiance, enhanced by the glorious light filtering through its stunning stained glass windows. The play of light creates a truly magical atmosphere, adding to the allure of the place.
One of the remarkable aspects of the Church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is that admission is free, making it accessible to all visitors. This inclusivity allows everyone to experience the beauty and serenity of this historical gem without any barriers.
Overall, our visit to the Church of Saint-Étienne-du-Mont was a memorable experience, enriched by its breathtaking architecture and tranquil atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the religious and cultural heritage of Paris.
The Basilica of Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre
#paristrip It was absolutely beautiful. Once you make it to the top, the views are stunning. The inside of the church is awesome. all of the little locks on all the fences, millions of them.. a man was outside, entertaining, playing his guitar and singing. I highly recommend it you must go.. but a warning you must wear comfortable shoes and be in decent shape to climb the millions of stairs to get to the top. I had to take several breaks before we made it up, but it was very well worth it.
Statue of Liberty Paris
#paristrip The grandest replica of all is just off the Grenelle Bridge on the little man-made island called Île aux Cygnes. While Liberty in New York was a gift from the French, this statue in Paris was a gift from the Americans. And it’s the biggest too (there are 6 statues in Paris) at 11.50 metres (37 feet 9 inches).Worth the effort to go see, not sure many people know about this was gifted to the French people in 1986, if you have always wanted to see lady liberty.
Louvre Museum
#paristrip Please read below!
-Buy your tickets in advance!
-If there’s a chance of rain bring appropriate gear as you queue outside to get in.
-Ensure you have several hours free!
-Download the map, it’s a life saver
-plenty of food and drink at all price ranges available inside.
-toilets are few and far between in the main wings, and the toilets in the main entrance get VERY busy, especially the ladies.
Audio guides available and recommended. If you want to see the famous Mona Lisa get in as early as possibly and head straight there! We did and got to the front for a fantastic view of the lady herself and it really made our day!
Be warned in advance this place is HUGE. We were there for 4hrs and still didn’t manage to see everything to its fullest extent. We bee lined to all our favourites and must sees. And then enjoyed the rest of the venue and a more gentle pace.
Simply stunning , we’d love to go again one day!
Highly recommend.

Staircase To Paris Highline
#paristrip
Starts around the Bastille area and heads south east for about 5km. Known as the “green corridor” to Parisians, it’s an amazing green and relaxing space above the busy avenues of Paris. Very jealous of the apartments looking over the highline park. Very cool.
Beautiful green walk a bit above Paris streets. This is a staircase up to the "corridor plantee" or the Coulee Verte Renee-Dumont (look it up on Maps), which is a raised walkway lined with greenery.
Square of Saint-Jacques Tower
#paristrip
Beautiful breathing space in the middle of Paris. This really feels like a little oasis to hide from the hustle and bustle of the city. Wonderfully kept greenery and on a sunny days it's just filled with people just enjoying the weather, picnicking and enjoying themselves.
This is a quiet little park in the middle of one of my favorite parts of Paris. It is not far from the Pompidou.
Esplanade Jacques-Chaban-Delmas
#paristrip
It is beautiful to spend an evening with family having Les Invalides as a background. Everything was cleaned, well taken care of, super nice! And it is not as popular as the others, so you will find much less people here.
Like many parks in Paris, it is beautiful to spend the afternoon with the family with Les Invalides behind you like a painting. Everything was super clean, well taken care of, very nice! And since it is not as popular as the other parks, you find space much easier.
Tino Rossi Garden
#paristrip
This place is like weekend getaway for the locals. Quite romantic and it's a nice place to chill out with a drink with no disturbance from police or any other elements. Safe for family and visiting during night is fun. With some live music in the surrounding .
Perfect urban park alongside the Seine. Lots of grass, trees, public art, people dancing tango, riding bikes, relaxing, vibe is so positive w/view of the Seine. An oasis in the middle of Paris.
Nelson Mandela Garden
#paristrip
This is the space which used to be the market square of old Paris, hence the name 'les halles' which refers to the market halls. From here fresh produce was brought to the neighboring streets, which gave life to the restaurants, cafes and shops at the famous cobblestone-covered Rue Montorgueil nearby. The area was in a state of disrepair until recently, when it was renovated - now there is a multi-storey shopping mall here with all the usual stores inside, and outside a nice, airy park with some modern features. There are playgrounds that are popular with local kids. The church of St Eustace is worth checking out, which has been a notable feature of the site for centuries.
Square du Temple - Elie Wiesel
#paristrip
A beautiful park in the center of the city with a little lake that makes it much more alluring than a simple city park. Beautiful flowers, trees and other plants surrounding the lake bring a botalical garden vibe to it. There is even a small wooden house in the lake for birds that live there. The park is almost always full of people and cheerful voices of children who are playing on a playground near the lake. The park is especially beautiful in the springtime with blooming trees and bushes and blue sunlit sky over it.
Jardin du Ranelagh
#paristrip
Jardin du Ranelagh is a peaceful oasis, just a three minute walk from La Muette stop on Line 9 of the Paris Metro. People have picnics here and there are well resourced children's playgrounds. Across the road is Marmottan Museum.
Nice quiet park during the week and slightly more packed during the weekend. It’s a great place to relax and host some outdoor picnics or children parties. There is a big playground and garden and even a huge dog park across the road.
Vincennes Woods
#paristrip
What a great place, almost in the middle of the city! ❤️
The park is really really big! Inside is a huge lake with ducks, swans and geese and peacocks!
The place is great not only for sport but also for relaxing. Especially that grass looks like a carpet!
It's definitely one of my favourite places in Vincennes!
The entrance is near the zoo. Just come by metro or tram. No need to take bus.
Belleville Park
#paristrip
LOVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD and spent a whole day exploring this area of the 20th. I started near the top of Parc de Belleville which has nice views of Paris and then wandered down thru Belleville. Highlights included the Dancing Goat which looks really cool and gets rave reviews, La Campagne à Paris (a very charming housing development from 1907), and lots of street art (esp. Rue Denoyez).

The Eiffel Tower needs no introduction but is still an absolutely amazing place to visit! We were able to spend more time in Paris than we were planning after our connecting flight was cancelled, and we took the opportunity to go to the top of the tower, and enjoyed seeing the sun set from the top. This was mid-February, so it was off-season, and the wait times were not bad at all. We had to wait less than 10 minutes to purchase our tickets and less than 20 minutes total for the lifts. Adult fare for a trip to the top is 28 Euro, but we thought it was well worth it and was definitely a highlight of our short time in the city. After the tower tour we took a river boat cruise and enjoyed seeing the tower all lit up. The tower has sparkling lights that flash for 5 minutes every hour on the hour - very neat!
Mad Golf
#paristrip
Waiting despite a reservation, and decent staff - perhaps in a hurry and preoccupied.
I hear the high price - we're in Paris. But it's a shame that the game is so short - it's over in 30 minutes, and even then we're slowed down by the other players! Adding holes would allow you to prolong the experience, immerse yourself in the place and enjoy it more!,oberall IT perfect for me
The historic record Louvre museum 🇫🇷
The second day in Paris. We visited to the popular Louvre museum where the masterpieces of art have been discovered.
To visit every site room inside the museum, it could take at least 4 hrs. We lined up around 1 hr to take a picture with Monalisa 😂
Mostly, the historical arts room such as Italian, French are crowded. Quite a few people who like modern art rooms like Spanish art.
The museum is always busy, so make sure to make online reservation before tickets are sold out.

Versailles Zones Decoded 🌳
#paristrip
Understanding Versailles requires decoding its zones. The breakdown, from the Palace and Gardens to the Queen's Hamlet, simplifies the complex layout. The recommendation to consult the interactive map or download the PDF is a practical touch for those overwhelmed by the labyrinthine arrangement.
The historical journey from the humble Castle of Versailles to its opulent transformation under Louis XIV unfolds beautifully. The snippet about Napoleon conveniently ignoring his non-royal status adds a touch of humor. The admission of a personal mistake in neglecting Versailles' history serves as a valuable lesson for prospective visitors.
Navigating the Versailles Labyrinth 🗺️
#paristrip
Embarking on my Versailles adventure was like stepping into a Baroque dream. The guide provides valuable insights for independent travelers navigating the grandeur. For those seeking simplicity, the tip about guided tours from Paris is a game-changer. The personal touch from a Parisian resident's perspective adds charm to the whimsical encounter with Versailles.
The spontaneous decision to explore Versailles turned into a map-induced journey reminiscent of a first-day Erasmus student. The revelation that Versailles is not just a palace but a myriad of palaces with gardens and fountains is crucial. The advice to cherry-pick interests from the vast 800 hectares and 500 rooms is a lifesaver. And, of course, the realization that a thorough visit equals a full day's endeavor sparks existential questions about vacation choices.
Marie Antoinette's Hideaway
#paristrip
Hameau de la Reine is a charming retreat that offers a glimpse into the idyllic rural fantasies of Marie Antoinette. This rustic hamlet, tucked away in the gardens of Versailles, feels like a storybook village with its thatched-roof cottages, a mill, and a pond. It's a serene and picturesque escape from the grandeur of the main palace, allowing visitors to wander through the Queen's quaint countryside haven.
