Peaceful Croatia city - split
If you happened to visit Croatia, it is a good idea to spend a day and a night in this peaceful coastal city. Split is about 3 hour coach or driving from the famous “game of throne” city Dubrovnik.
We were visiting during the autumn n winter time. You can basically “own” the street or restaurant. The price of hotel and restaurant is really friendly when it is in a cooler weather here. It is quite a good deal to save money if you just want to visit the historic site. The old town of split keeps the ancient tower and make you feel like you are in a movie.
We live next to the habour area can enjoy the breathtaking view. The whole city is within walking distance. You can easily reach DM, restaurant and a little shopping mall within 20 mins walk from south to north.
There is split airport around 15 mins drive from town. It is a beautiful new modern airport that consist of pretty much everything you need.
Although we visited in a fall time, it won’t be a surprise that the city would be popular and crowded in a summer. I mean who will deny a Croatia beer next to a coastline.
