Aesthetic Cafe in Jakarta
One of my Indonesian friend recommended and brought me to try Twin House in Blok M. It is a cafe with cute and chic aesthetic in Jakarta and they have several branch there. The cafe is very beautiful and cozy, suitable to catch up with friends.
We ordered their dessert, Pisang Gepeng which is fried banana with caramelizer brown sugar and vanila ice cream. The fried banana goes very well with the caramelized brown sugar. The portion os quite small though. We also ordered their fries and it is crispy. My friend ordered Kopi Sadewa which consists of ice cubed coffee with caramel cinnamon flavoured milk and she said it was nice as the cinnamon taste is not dominant so you can still taste the coffee. Overall it was a good experience dining here.

Cafe Hunt : Odysseia, Jakarta
What a beautiful place to be in. Definitely one of my favourite chill places to go for lunch or dinner. A lot of good spots to take pictures and the food is pretty well-rounded.
Italian food, small portions, pricey (reasonable, located in elite area). Decent food, eye-pleasing spaces to take photos. Would come back for sure.

Beautiful Artwork
Along the way from Pasar Baru to MONAS, you will find a stretch for shop, selling variety of goods such as bags, clothing and artwork.
The street portrait painting attract my attention. There are few artists here, from their age of 30-60years old, with their beautiful portraits. Some of the artists had been drawing for more than 30years here!!
Get a portrait of yourself from the street artist here, at a reasonable price as a souvenir from Indonesia, and you won’t be regret of their amazing artwork.

Let me take you to a trip to China Town in Jakarta, Indonesia
#celebratewithtrip
We may find China Town in many countries. I was always amazed to take a chance visiting China Town of its rich culture, food, and ornaments. In Jakarta, Indonesia, you can see the newest China Town in Pantjoran Pantai Indah Kapuk, a.k.a PIK, a new happening place for Jakarta’s folks.
The Pantjoran China Town is a complex for dining and shopping. It is not too big, but worth visiting. You will find various snacks and heavy meals, not only Chinese food but also other local and international dishes. In addition, you can find tea shops, souvenirs, and clothes. On top of that, If you are looking for China-style buildings and decorations for your Instagrammable or pre-wedding photos, this is your destination!

Flying from T3 Soeta
Went back to Singapore by Jetstar Airways from terminal 3 Soekarno Hatta International Airport. Gate located further down, far away from immigration. It's gate 1 at very corner of the airport, so I have time to look around while walking towards the gate.
Many shops close, but you can buy general items here, including food and medicine although price will be way more expensive. Design of this terminal almost similar to changi airport with relax corner, children section, charging points, lounge, and others.

Food in Soekarno Hatta Departure
Found this marugame udon before flying back to Singapore. It's the food that I can eat with warm soup options, although I don't like udon but thankfully they also have rice and soup!
Total cost for this meal is Rp112,000+ which is around SG$11 without drink. Beef bowl rice, egg tempura, and chicken meatball soup. Additional add on for free flow tea is available for Rp15,000 or SG$1.5; but I don't feel like having tea and brought my own water already.
Here you are allowed to bring outside food unlike other places, they are more flexible as long as we ordered food from them. It's worth to spend on heavy meal like this in the airport before flying.

Durian Matang di Pohon
#deliciousfood
The Kemang area, which is located in South Jakarta, is very happening at night. Many people visit there at night to eat and meet friends. I came across a cafe that had just opened here that sold durian. The name of the cafe is Matang di Pohon (Ripe on a tree). So we stopped here to see and taste durian at the cafe. Here, Montong durian from Java and several other durian species are sold.
The place is very simple, exclusive and an attraction for durian fans.
Open at 11am , close 10pm

Jakarta: the little-known metropolis
When Japanese people go to Indonesia, it is Bali.
But the capital of Indonesia is a big city with the second largest population in the world after the Tokyo metropolitan area.
People say that the security situation is bad, but when you actually go there, it is relatively safe, not that different from other Southeast Asian cities.
Of course, since it is overseas, you need to be very careful!
And above all, the prices are cheap!
No matter how many taxis you take, buses and trains are also cheap and easy to use. Food is also cheap and delicious.
And what surprised me the most was that Jakarta is a bigger city than Bangkok and Singapore, if not bigger!
There are still not many Japanese, Chinese, and Korean tourists, so I recommend it.
As of August 2011, a visa is required.
*However, arrival visa is also possible

Kopi Bawah Tangga @Bundaran HI
An okay place to hangout in central Jakarta. The price of the coffee is still affordable, the taste is good. accompanied by a good view from above the HI roundabout bridge as well as a spot to see the busy streets of the capital city of Jakarta.
a little crowded. try to come to this place in the afternoon because during the day the weather is quite hot because it's outdoor.

Id snacks, drinks cafe inside to chill :)

At Jakarta airport and want to do last minute souvenir shopping, have a local food or snack you want to get?
Do check out their chain of convenience stores which is quite common in Indonesia. Indomaret Point. They have a wide range of local goods like instant noodles, biscuits and drinks available.
Elsewise, do try their in house cafe, chill and grab a drink, sit down here if you arrived early for your flight. There is point cafe located inside.

Jakarta street food and night market here 🙏🏻 very crowded but every step here is worth it, enjoying the vibe with the local people in the city
Nice food area in the middle of sudirman office. Something new to the workers with walk distance. But everything is pricey and packed during lunch time. They have parking space also. You should come early around 11 to get a seat. They have indoor restaurants and outdoor foodcourt area at the back. Worth to visit.

Kota Tua Jakarta
Historical facts and moments recorded quite well here and old buildings wraped in the outmost of the area. In the night time you may see and meet crowd spread coverred almost the surroumdings walking and sitting enjoy the food and drinks gotten from the area's sellers. In the day working times you'll get many historical information compacted with all the facts therein, while if you are with no body knows the history of the area then it is only a killing time of all your daily activities as well.
