The hike was beautiful, leading through dense forests that eventually opened up to alpine pastures. The summit was spacious and grassy, with wide views across rolling landscapes. I visited the nearby Snežna Jama (Snow Cave), a fascinating underground world of ice formations, which added adventure to the trip. #mytraveldiary Mozirski Gaj is a vibrant garden that feels like stepping into a fairy-tale world. Colorful flower beds, artistic displays, and themed gardens create a joyful, whimsical atmosphere. I especially loved the flower sculptures shaped like animals and houses—it felt like nature had turned into art. The riverside location adds charm, and the walking paths are perfect for slow exploration. Families, couples, and nature lovers all seemed to enjoy the cheerful energy here. Palenk Waterfall There are many waterfalls in Logar Valley, and the closest one that you can enjoy without hiking for a long time is Palenk Waterfall. At the parking lot and service desk in Logar Valley, you can hear the clear and loud sound of the valley stream flowing from a distance. After a few steps, you can see something like a kettle hanging high on the mountain and sprinkling water down. It is located behind Hotel Plesnik. When we walked to the hotel and prepared to continue forward, we found that we could not pass here. However, not far from the parking lot, there is a path to the waterfall. It only takes a few minutes to walk there. Although the waterfall is not big, it hangs high in the mountains. The forest cliffs on both sides look like a beautiful and magnificent scenery. There are also chairs in front of the waterfall where you can sit down and quietly feel the power and beauty of nature. ❤️tips: Sports shoes are the best for the gravel road. In addition, there are large mountain stones and wide streams around the waterfall, so be careful of landslides.
