Snowdonia
is a national park known for its extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes, and rugged peaks such as Cader Idris and Tryfan.
For traveling to the summit, you can either trek or take the train. Unfortunately, when we went, the fog was so thick that we couldn't see the view.
Trekking to the summit takes about 3-4 hours.

Lovely shot of the sun in Snowden!
Last weekend, I took a wonderful trip to Mount Snowdon, Wales' tallest mountain. The hike up was a bit tough but totally worth it for the amazing views. We saw beautiful wildflowers, heard birds singing, and even spotted some sheep grazing. The summit offered breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding landscape.
After the hike, we relaxed in a cozy cottage at the mountain's base. I snapped a picture of the setting sun, which looked like a glowing orb among the trees. This trip was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and I can’t wait to go back!

Adventures in Snowdonia National Park
My recent trip to Snowdonia National Park, located in the breathtaking landscapes of Wales, was an absolute delight for the adventure enthusiast in me. This natural wonderland is easily accessible from Birmingham and promises unforgettable experiences amidst its rugged beauty.
Snowdonia is a paradise for outdoor lovers, offering an array of activities from hiking to rock climbing. #NatureLovers will revel in the diverse terrain, including majestic mountains, sparkling lakes, and lush forests. The highlight, of course, is conquering Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales. The views from the summit are awe-inspiring, but be sure to check the weather forecast and bring suitable gear for this challenging ascent.
For those seeking less strenuous activities, the park boasts numerous scenic trails, like the picturesque Aber Falls Path, where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll while taking in the natural beauty. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the chance to spot various species of birds, including the elusive peregrine falcon.
Campers will find plenty of spots to set up their tents, providing an opportunity to experience the park's serenity under the starlit sky. However, make sure to follow the Leave No Trace principles and respect the environment.
While visiting Snowdonia, don't forget to explore charming Welsh villages like Betws-y-Coed and enjoy traditional dishes at local eateries. The warmth of the locals adds to the overall experience.
One word of advice: plan your trip well in advance, especially if you intend to hike Mount Snowdon during peak seasons, as the trails can get crowded.
In conclusion, Snowdonia National Park is a haven for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. Its rugged beauty, outdoor activities, and the opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life make it a must-visit destination from Birmingham. #SnowdoniaAdventures #NaturalBeauty

Visiting Bangor
I used to go to Bangor for university and I went back recently to revisit. The scenery around Bangor can not be beat, but I think the virus has really affected the high street since I was last there which is a shame. I still had a fantastic time and I would 100% go back again!
whether it's climbing the mountains or walking along to the end of the pier there are stunning, breathtaking views all around. anywhere you look you will find something worth photographing.
After I finished looking around Bangor I also moved across the strait to Anglesey. more specifically, Beaumaris which is a lovely town across the way from Bangor. I had a great time there too and signed the guestbook in the town hall. #bangor #university #wales #pier
