Budir Black Church

#familytrips2024 It is not common to see a black church. So apparently the wooden church was painted black to protect it from the harsh weather of Iceland. It is painted black with pitch and built in 1703 which is pretty long ago. Because of this colour uniqueness, it has become a popular photo spot for photographers for that minimalist or monologue monochrome feel. The church is still active today.
