A new branch of the famous Japanese store, Don Don Donki, has recently opened at Thaniya Plaza in Silom area of Bangkok. There are many Japanese products you can normally find in Japan such as toiletries, cosmetics, snacks, and fresh food. There are also some special products for adults too. This store takes over two floors of the famous Thaniya Plaza where most customers are Thai and Japanese. There's also a ramen shop called Ramen Go on the second floor. Soi-Si-Lom, a beautiful shop on the top floor, open-air style. Sit and drink right next to the BTS line. So I went directly to ask if the food was delicious or expensive because there were very few reviews of this shop, no one wrote clearly. My friend said it was okay, but the atmosphere was better. The shop is located at the curve of the BTS between Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi stations. Don't worry about the heat because the shop has fans in both zones. Smoothie is a trend these days. Yesterday, I walked in Soi Sathorn 11 and saw this cute shop. I had seen it on a delivery app but I just found out that it was here. There were 5 of us and we ordered one each to try. Everyone said in unison that it was delicious and blended very well. They must have used a good blender. The best thing about this shop is that they claim that they don't add syrup, but the sweetness comes from the fruits. It feels even better. Their menu is divided into cold pressed juice and smoothies, which are quite extensive. I tried the Strawanana Twist. It was fragrant, sweet, and smooth. It went together very well. They also have plant-based and oat milk to choose from. I arrived at the hotel and the front desk said that my room had be ready since 11:30 a.m. Ready for what? This made me suspicious. Never in my life has the front desk EVER said this to me. Dishonest backstabbers. I did not feel comfortable in the room (for some reason🤔) so I changed to the 10th floor and felt better. One guy working at the front desk tried to convince me to stay in the "original room"... that it is bigger... blah blah... I finally had to tell him to please stop talking and just give me the bloody room. He was giving me a headache. I guess you can't trust anyone anymore... not at this hotel OR in Thailand... or anywhere in the world for that matter. 222 Si Lom, Suriya Wong, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand My family and I went to Bangkok and we stayed at the silom area this time round for our fall season trip. We booked two rooms at the deluxe level. They assigned us to connecting rooms. One with a queen bed, and the other with two single beds. The layout was quite different. One room has a transparent door to the bathroom. The other looks like a Japanese style bathroom. We love the room design and the ambience. We strongly recommend this hotel as they have a rich history in Bangkok. The room are spacious 30m2 and there was a morning market around the corner.
